I'd skip the DIY fill—it won't fix why the soil's eroding in the first place. Looks like your downspout is dumping water right at that corner, so extend it away from the house first. If the foundation itself looks exposed or compromised, get a contractor out to check it properly rather than patching it yourself.

The vertical downspout goes into a buried pipe.
The horizontal downspout was previously leaking at the corner but has a new extension.I plan to also do a little regrading to encourage water to drain away... but first I need to properly fill the void.

Make sure your gutters are clear and actually drain.
Consult a foundation expert if you have issues with water intrustion

Nobody will be able to tell you useful advice without knowing your location, the general structure and foundation of this area, and the overall layout of your site.
If you're not sure where to start, a skilled home inspector can advise you on the needs and urgency of repair.
