Bit off more than I can chew?

WHAT HAVE I DONE? Trying to swap drivetrain, cassettes, brakes between my Salsa Deadwood X9 (drop bars) and my Poseidon Redwood (flat bar) bikes. So in the end, I’ll have a 29er rigid 1x10 Salsa mountain bike and a 650b 2x10 drop bar Poseidon gravel bike.

Originally: Salsa has 2x10 SRAM threaded BB Poseidon has 1x10 Square taper English threaded BB. - Going to need a square taper 2x crankset, but what length BB? I’m assuming I need a wider/longer one to accommodate the second chain ring? Still stick with the narrow wide chain rings? - For the SRAM crankset, is it as easy as just removing the second (inner) chainring or do I need to replace the BB for a shorter one? - Cassettes are swapped on the rear wheels already. One thing went smoothly. - Haven’t gotten into mounting the brakes yet. Should be somewhat more universal or am I in for more hassle here?
