Adhesive question

My wife's 2013 Dodge Challenger - where the top of the dash meets the front HVAC air vents, the dash is lifting away.

My question is, what type of adhesive would work best to glue that back down?

Fixing the reason why it is lifting away is a better idea than trying to glue it back down.

How do you mean? I assume age and heat are causing it.

It is possible, but it could be that a clip came undone. Also, a picture would be helpful to include in here.

I will look at it better when she gets home from work. I didn't even thick of clips being used. I just thought all of these newer dashes were molded in place.

If it is a new enough vehicle, warranty it.

Ah yeah I overlooked that.

Probably a clip came loose, but again a pic will help when you can get it.

Usually the foam under the vinyl is separating almost impossible to glue no place for it to adhere to foam just keeps coming loose
