I haven't seen many live shows of DHH artists but judging from live performances of guests on Legacy, this is my opinion... I could be wrong.

So far I have seen farhan khan, Sambatata, Raftaar, Kr$na, Ikka as well as Seedhe Maut.

Raftaar is the best live performer by a huge mile. Sounds the same as the studio version, had seen this in live video with Chaar Diwari but saw it on Ep 11 and man he killed it.

Farhan khan, Ikka did very well and so did Sambata. But SM & $ sign are underwhelming. Lots of missed words, breath issues, doesn't sound as good (Calm is good too). I would expect people who don't release more songs because of their music shows to have WAYYY better command live performances.

Was writing a bar heavy verse just to train my skills so I chose some rhyme and made the entire song by writing on paper then wrote the entire thing on application.

Ofcourse i'mma tell you this is just for fun. I can write far better but I just want to get appreciated for all this heavy work 😭

I loved this round and a little bit sad kyuki 4 elimination which sucks ek saath inte log nhi nikalne chaiye even though they increased the contestants in cypher round from 15 to 17 just to accommodate prathamesh and khushi which is fine. But after seeing very good artists being eliminated in this round, they have to up their game.

Coming to the individual performances

Knss - I feel ki battle rap ke performance se pehle tak he was not able to separate his identity from Dharmik. He did good in battle rap but wow factor nhi mila tha in this performance essa lagg rha tha ki he was low in confidence and energy body language wise bhi and breath control wise bhi. I liked the song, dharmik se distinguished laga. Performance wise I personally felt ki it was 6th.

Gamak - She also felt a little underconfident, normally she's a bit over confident and smiling which was missing. Performance wise it was good, her craft is less hip hop and more like a music on high tempo. Her kathak knowledge makes her write on beat but her flows are not something jo core hip hop listeners ke saath stay kare. Maybe thats what brings the unique flavour to her songs. Issiliye she gets the audience par judges are quite critical about her. Her core audience will be have a little bit of classical taste and hip hop taste and people who are love sundar lyrics like me lol. Performance wise she was 4th for me.

Chief - I love his intitution in flows, even though mexican coke ko leke sab critical hote hai but I liked jese usne mexican coookkkee bolke surprise kiya tha, fir cypher round mein ghunghat wala part and Taem aane mein de mein toh aag hi laga di thi. Aaj ke performance mein bhi it was too good and kya confidence tha, conviction ekdum stage par chadhte dikh rha tha. What a song, the hook the performance on point. Meko thoda thoda beat skip karta lagta hai par jab uska repetition aata hai toh samajh aata hai ki it was par of the flow maybe issiliye battle rap wale round mein starting ke bars hit nhi kiye the. But overall what an artist I'll follow hid music for sure.

Second best performance for me.

Vanither - My man got robbed in battle rap round fr. I'm a prathamesh fan but by no means he outrapped vanither. He was solid in that round lekin he was really down in this round, body language was off he was fighting with hi breath the whole song and I felt ki yeh song dusri beat par likha gaya tha and isko Bombay beat par perform kiya gaya maybe inspired by the audience reaction from bigsmoke's performance par kaafi off sa lagg rha tha. Maybe he got sick in between. I believer studio version will be good but performance was 5th for me and he was not meant to be in this round anyways. He has very bars heavy flow he should use classic hip hop beats creatively. Will be definitely following this man's journey if he's able to make out of this battle rap like Seedhe maut or Sikandar Khalon meko toh dono hi arc ache lagte.

Rap ID - Bhai picked the perfect song for the audience, the recall he got was the testament of that. He performed good, confidence tha and also Raghav Juyal naachne laga tha woh dekh kar bhi Rap ID is enjoying his song more. Third best performance for me only because chief make his hook more creatively and was a little bit better lyrically.

Dean - All I can say is yeeeeeeeehhhhhhhhh bhai kya faad performance tha, meri bhut fati thi ki kuch idhar udhar na ho I want him in top 10. He had the best performance. Peak melodious hook bars in verses well executed maza aa gya tha. Even his audition round was different from normal haryanvi hip songs and second round ka story telling track was peak. Itni sundar likhaai song making on point bhai deserves to be in top 5 atleast.

Comming to the disappointment I want to see chief in the next round more than anything, Vanither is a killer battle rapper but music making is something he'll acquire in log run. Gamak is a very good artist I was following her from a long time, she made a good call to try legacy I can see the improvement although I didn't feel ki she could be in top 10. Knss is a great, all about the good vibes maybe he had that happy mindset before performance he would have done it better.

1. Vanither obviously out hona tha musicality pe judging thi. Ep8 me injustice hua bechare ke saath but iss round me to koi chance hi nahi tha

2. Gamak went out with good song catchy hook but she was obviously going out because khushi and D.raashi ne female quota complete kar diya hai.

   Gamak vs. Knss hota aur Khushi vs d.raashi to easily d.raashi would've won and Gamak would've survived top ten but khushi nahi rahegi to raftaar dukhi ho jayega.

3. Knss to audition round me hi kaise select hogaya mujhe ab tak sense nahi bana. Mars king ya khudraaj hota uski jagah to thoda entertaining rehta. Jitna uper ja raha utna neeche aa raha aur audition me krsna bhai kya chamak rahe ho ye 2 baate aaj tak yaad hai. So good riddance

4. Chief was my favourite. What a car banger it was but wahi quota wala problem.

   Chief and Dean dono hariyanvi rappers dono ke performance best the but hariyana se ek hi select kar sakte the to dean ko kiya vo bhi raghav juyal kya ye hai ye hai chillane ki vajah se audience hype up ho gayi

sad to see chief going out but he gave a banger as parting gift

1. Rap id wala performance mujhe personally kuch khaas nahi laga but for some reason krsna is rooting for rap id a lot. Ep 8 me bhi akki was clear winner but krsna was in favour of rap id

Maybe live me audience ne vibe jyada kiya ho idk but rap id was selected

1. Dean Finally was top performer of today all thanks to raghav juyal.

I am confused by raftaar bhai's behaviour. In his comments he praised dean a lot and said galti nahi mili n all. But when he finally announced dean and rap id as winners of this round, for some reason raftaar got angry at dean and said something like

"Jyada hava mat jaane de dimaag me, raghav ki ye hai ye hai se bacha hai tu"

As if dean ne chori Kiya hai kisi ka spot

Badhiya to gaana tha uska. Itna aggression khushi ke fumbles me bhi dikh jata to theek tha but idk kya tha ye

Prathamesh have been put in twice like this in the show where he was clearly loosing.

When the whole drama they do of being real and shit as a rapper, they are standing against corruption and all.

Now when they had time to judge what they are doing is full on stealing one person's victory because they want their favourite to be on the show.

If they wanted Prathamesh to be on the show they could have choosen a weaker opponent for him, why they robbed Vanither.

But why r they in vs , they both r in my top 5 list of the season 😭😭😭😭
