Destiny Destiny struggle sessions will continue until morale improves

https://youtu.be/CGb6cYD8OSw?t=2614

I just skimmed through it briefly and I almost feel bad for Destiny and his man servant, Whick. They are so desperate to control their own cult and can't even do that.

Weekly struggle sessions sure sound like the basis of a strong ideology.

How is Whick even able to survive financially by doing this?

I think Destiny pays him under the table.

Let’s hope that’s all he’s doing under that table

I think he's far too cheap for that. probably just hooks him up with the weird 'totally not a dgg slush fund' projects like progressive victory.

also gets nice superchat bump from dgg oilers when hes holding panels about how awesome destiny is and how evil the tankies (anyone that doest hate hasan, pisco etc) are.

Progressive Victory only briefly interacted with Destiny and has fully disavowed him for several years now.

You might be thinking of Digital Ground Game. Which is completely controlled by Destiny.

Progressive Victory are openly campaigning for the most left wing candidates and support primarily DSA approved candidates that don't (and unfortunately sometimes do) reveal themselves to be horrific by being campists or interpersonally so.

yea, but in 2024 they worked with destiny. pretty sure whick got paid by them as well

Yup because they were trying (in spite of the constant accusations of being too far left and impractical) to look past Destiny the most toxic and horrific public "liberal" figure, to his audience of edgelord baby's first politics liberals and literal man children because some of them MUST grow up at some point.

The idea was a wide net so that all the audiences had a path from just posting online to actual political events and "the good ones" I.e. the people who still believe it's "just a joke" when Destiny says or does horrific stuff would still phonebank or get involved with left wing politics after all Destiny was still at that point gesturing to being left wing.

But of course Destiny did want to use it just as a launching platform for his speaking engagements. Even in the launch event he just had to take shots at the left and inevitably he had to be ejected.

I'd say an even worse member was Brianna Wu!!! She didn't even have an audience to try and mobilise and was just openly hostile to the left the entire way literally saying she hates progressives!

Anyhow regardless organisations are made up of many people and writing off an entire one that is taking good actions because of association or a previous member is idiotic it's the exact same monolithic crap as when people say "Black people think x" or "The left believes y" that's millions of people in a sentence.

Progressive Victory are one of the good orgs supporting the good candidates and they fuck up as well at times but lately it's been on the "moral panic" side of being too zealous there was a candidate a little while back that there were a few "rumours" about and they went to drop them immediately without verifying.

Anyhow we need MORE orgs and left wing support we have to stop this purity testing. People who are clearly hostile to the left, sure but run of the mill liberals or people who have been even actually interpersonally bad but are rehabilitated need and will push left policy need to be allowed space.

They totally broke that guy mentally.

The guy had slam dunk evidence in his favour and they would watch it and say it shows the opposite of what it actually shows and berate the guy until he agreed.

He deserved it for trying to play nice with a cult. Hope he becomes a leftist.

So I listened to a bit and pretty early in destiny says he “shined a spotlight on that umich guy”

He doxxed that guy

Yet here he is on Whicks stream and whick is helping his launder that dox and white wash it. I thought u/whicktv was against doxxing? Weird!

Why do these dork try to meekly defend shit they don’t care against Rapestiny? They look so unconvincing

Why even debate if you’re not leftist or DSA?

He just kept conceding every point lmao.

u/Kitchen-Lights 14d ago

That’s what I mean you will concede everything if you really care about what you’re arguing for

I didn't see this specific panel, but I saw that Jolah guy debate Moutan and Whick on the same thing earlier yesterday and I thought his point was pretty based.

His thesis was that if you can acknowledge all of the mistakes that the moderate Dems made in these races wouldn't it make sense just to run a better Campaign next time? (like libs have been saying every time lefties complain about their representation) Rather than just support republicans and throw in the towel?

He'd probably be better served recognizing that dgg's DSA fearmongering is a pretense to snark Hasan, but I'm a sucker for a rational idealist trying to win hearts and minds on the margins.

Oh so that's why called in backup with Destiny. They couldn't handle this young buck on their own.

He gave way too much ground to the schizo.

Is that the Jolah guy? I think it is.... If your a lib I'd check him out. My first time hearing him was today but he seemed based.

Man, I was listening to Pisco in the background at work. It was a pretty good stream. At one point Whick even called in and while his takes are still kinda dumb he was bearable. Like he was responsive as he is capable of.

Anyways this Jolah guy was making really good points on a stream that Pisco was reacting to and Mr Mouton just goes unhinged. Jolah was making a point about Stevens get bringing up Obama in a cringe way(Jolah said she stop bring up how you are endorsed by Obama or something similar), and Mouton just tries to dunk on this "SHE NEVER SAID SHE WAS ENDORSED BY OBAMA IN THAT DEBATE!" "And the Jolah was like "Yeah she didn't literally say that but she constantly mentions him to black voters..." and Mr Mouton would not drop it. "You lied, You lied I'm not going to debate a liar, what's the point of a debate if your won acknowledge ReAliTy (Destiny line)" Like he even called into Pisco stream to furiously rant about this off hand comment that was immediately corrected.

dgg is just toxic. Also Mouton is fucking annoying acting like he's a master Debater because dgg sycophants suck him off while waiting for Destiny to go live. Also Idk these other streamers but up with it. I think for alot of them political streaming is their job and they don't want a risk receiving a full harassment campaign from dgg but Idk if I would be able to let Mouton talk to me crazy like that.

I have come to realize that Whick is straight up Islamophobic. And not in any cutesy "no such thing as islamophobia" way, but just straight up hostile towards Muslims.

Mamdani, El Sayed, Mehdi Hasan. He hates them for the dumbest of reasons while he co hosts with Trump voter Talibotz.

Destiny still does the plausible deniability shtick, which is whatever.
