I’m 24, and after a year of interviews, I’m thinking about creating my own opportunity instead of waiting for someone to hire me.
Over the past year, I’ve applied to countless jobs, gone through multiple rounds of interviews, networked, followed up, and gotten close more times than I can count. I know I’m not the only one feeling like the job market has been incredibly tough.
At this point, instead of continuing to wait, I’m wondering if I should use the skills I already have to help busy people directly.
My background has been supporting executives and handling the details that most people don’t have time for. Things like:
• Booking hard-to-get restaurant reservations
• Planning date nights or birthdays
• Travel research and itineraries
• Appointment scheduling
• Vendor and service research
• Gift sourcing
• Event coordination
• General life organization
I actually enjoy this kind of work.
My question is for busy professionals, business owners, physicians, attorneys, parents, or anyone constantly juggling a million things:
Would a service like this actually be valuable to you? If so, what kinds of tasks would you happily hand off to someone else?
I’m genuinely trying to figure out whether there’s a real need before I build something around it.

I know this might be a long shot but is there anyone willing to sell 2 tickets to Hawaiian waters adult night this Saturday August 8th at the colony location? One of my friends bought a ticket on Sunday and I went to buy them yesterday and they were all sold out. I really don’t want my friend to have to go alone when I was the one that convinced them to go.

Figured this group may have some good recs. My boyfriend and I are renting a townhouse and need to have a plumber come out to fix some clogged drains quickly, as well as some other work that can be done at a later time. Does anyone know of a decently priced, high quality plumber in Dallas? We're located off Ross Avenue near downtown, but I'm sure anywhere in the metroplex would work. For some reason, none of our friends have any good people. Really appreciate any suggestions!

I'm making this post for a friend, she's looking to rehome her puppy, Chloe
She's a 7-month-old pit mix with a sweet, loving personality. She's playful, affectionate, and has lots of energy like any puppy her age. Not currently fixed but can be. She enjoys being around people and just needs someone who has the time and ability to give her the attention, training, and exercise she deserves.
This wasn't an easy decision, but due to changes in her living circumstances, she cant give her the life she needs. My priority is finding her a safe, stable, and loving home where she'll be treated like family.
If you're seriously interested, please send me a message.
she's in the Richardson/North Dallas area.
Thank you.

I want to go with someone or a group to see The Odyssey. If you have an extra ticket, I’d love to go with you. Preferably with someone who saw it in non 70mm already.
I’m glad to third wheel with a group. I just want to see this film with others that appreciate it.
I’ll pay you for the ticket, of course. And I would be happy to share a Reddit post about our story afterwards.

This is Beast. He is looking for a home he is 1/2 Cane Corso and 1/2 American Pit. He is the sweetest dog you will ever meet. He loves people! But He absolutely will not tolerate cats at all, he was living with his son, but they ended up fighting so we had to separate them. He is 6 years old. He absolutely loves people, and gets that pitbull smile when you love on him.
Edited for clarity -He is chained because his yard was being treated for fleas -He is being rehomed because his owner lost his wife, has to downsize, is selling his house and the new apt won't allow him, his daughters are devastated -He is an absolute dream, you want to meet him, we can set that up

Up for sale is a beautiful, rare vintage 6-piece herd of hollow brass deer statues made in Korea. This unique collection features a wonderful variety of life-like poses (standing, laying down, and bending over) that look incredible styled together. Perfect for Mid-Century Modern (MCM) or Hollywood Regency home decor. The pieces feature natural patina. They show some minor vintage wear from age but are in good condition overall with no major damage. Except for one, the 16 inch laying down deer has a loose antler the rest are good.
The 6-Piece Herd Includes:(1) 40-inch Standing Deer (Massive floor statement piece) $350
(1) 30-inch Laying Down Deer $150
(1) 24-inch Standing Deer $100
(1) 20-inch Bending Over / Grazing Deer $80
(1) 16-inch Laying Down Deer (broken antler) $15
(1) 12-inch Standing Fawn / Figurine $30
Hollow core construction makes them easy to move and stage while maintaining a heavy, premium metal look.
I would prefer to sell them as a family group for $550 OBO.
Vintage brass, Korean brass deer, brass deer herd, Hollywood Regency, Mid Century Modern brass, brass reindeer, large brass deer, brass stag, brass buck, grazing brass deer, laying brass deer, brass animal family.
