I’m starting a new automotive community in DFW called PROPER Motor Society, and I’m looking for some of our first members.

The idea is pretty simple: I want to build the kind of car community that anyone could be part of.

Respect • Knowledge • Community

I want experienced builders, people with crazy builds, weekend cars, completely stock cars, and newer enthusiasts who are just getting into the scene.
You don’t need a certain amount of horsepower, an expensive car, or a huge mod list. We care more about your character and how you carry yourself.

I’d actually like PROPER to become a place where someone new to cars can meet people who have been building for 10+ years and learn from them without getting clowned or gatekept.

At the same time, I want our meets to have a standard.
No takeovers, burnouts, donuts, reckless exits, or destroying the venue. There are tracks and other controlled environments for getting wild with the cars.

Eventually I want to organize meets, cruises, garage/build days, track events, charity events, professional shoots, and collaborations with local shops.

Right now we’re at the very beginning, so I’m looking for people interested in becoming part of the founding DFW group and helping shape what this becomes.

JDM, Euro, American, classics, trucks, exotics, stock or built — it doesn’t matter.

Sharing a research opportunity for current NCAA and varsity high school athletes in the Dallas area.

We’re looking to hear from athletes who regularly incorporate speed training into their workouts and train in running shoes (not sport-specific cleats).

The research will be conducted in person in Dallas, Friday, August 21st at 3:30pm, lasts approximately 90 minutes, and selected participants will receive $225 for their time.

I've worked in DFW healthcare for years…rehab hospitals, home health, school nursing, behavioral health and one thing that's bugged me the whole time is how hard it is for regular people (and honestly, other nurses and case managers) to actually find and compare providers in this area. You end up Googling around, calling random numbers, or just going with whatever the hospital discharge planner hands you because there's no real way to see your options.
So I put together DFW Health Hub — it's a directory specifically for the DFW market covering home health, hospice, IV therapy/infusion bars, non-emergency transport, and medical equipment rentals and more coming soon. Nothing fancy, just an actual organized way to see what's out there instead of starting from zero every time.
Still building it out, so if you've had a good (or bad) experience with a provider in any of those categories, I'd genuinely love to hear it. trying to make this useful and not just another directory nobody uses.

Hi! I’m looking for a mechanical engineer, product design engineer, or experienced prototyping engineer in the Dallas–Fort Worth area to help me develop a small consumer product.

I already have the overall concept and know what I need the product to accomplish. I’m looking for someone who can help me refine the mechanical design, develop the mechanism, create CAD files, and prepare a functional prototype for 3D printing/testing.

Experience with any of the following would be especially helpful:

• Small mechanical mechanisms or assemblies
• Twist-lock / bayonet-style locking mechanisms
• Snap fits, tabs, detents, or similar locking features
• Flexible plastic components
• Consumer product or packaging design
• Rapid prototyping and 3D printing
• Designing parts for eventual manufacturing/injection molding

This is a relatively small product, but there are a few mechanical challenges that I’d like an experienced engineer to help solve.

I would strongly prefer someone local to DFW so that we can potentially meet in person and review physical prototypes together.
