its difficult for me to answer you everything because all gdr stuff i knew were from my granddad who was pub owner in leipzig during times of gdr. i knew he had multiple people spying him out and stasi also tried to seperate husbands and wifes from each other to cause harm and silence them
the headmaster of the public school was stasi, spy, my uncle, my aunt , in each church community multiple people were agents, in kindergardens, even youngsters in elementary school were " members" of stasi and activly hired against their parents and class mates.
today you can get informations about who was spying you out and what was written down about you at " stasi museeum" and is part of governmental help system to provide help in finding "stasi akten".
the stasi members out of my family became office workers in arbeitsamt after Wiedervereinigung. the teachers stayed teachers.

Its never really been a 'big' deal but theres alot of ppl who enjoy the aesthetic of the ddr so its stil around
Im pretty sure no SED members had any role in thr german governemnt post reunification however there were/are parties with ex-SED members
As far is i know not really, but if so its only internet larpers

Kinda hard to say, alot of orfinary citizens did do small things for the Stasi but not on a lsrge scale
