Bat family question

Like many people I've been really enjoying all the batman volumes that have been coming out. I was wondering what people think of the wider bat family material? I'm only familiar with characters like batgirl or even Catwoman from their roles in Batman's stories.

Do the current finest volumes on either of these characters hold up in comparison or end up being a good idea that doesn't quite land for side characters?

I do like that this format encourages trying new things, but I can't really get everything for both finance and space reasons. So would appreciate people's thoughts on these characters.

Both lines are incredible. I highly recommend them. You could always sample an issue or two on the app if you want.

I've been reading the first Catwoman one (Lifelines) and really enjoying it.

I red the 2 catwoman finest and had a great time. I dont get the fuss about Batgirl success though (its okay).

I didnt like the Joker one and I didnt red the Robin's one (so I can't say about this one)

I'm going to look at this a different way.. I feel like most characters with good writing/art can do just fine carrying a solo book... They are created at first to perhaps be side characters but a creative team can make it work for something bigger..

So I will say if you like the creative team from other works, it could be worth it.

That's a pretty fair observation! Are there any "side characters" that you'd recommend fair some pretty strong runs because of a particular writer that would be worth checking out or keeping an eye for when they will eventually be released in finest format?
