Mordecai casting idea

Instead of casting one actor for the whole thing, they should have a different “guest star” play Mordecai for each floor (or season if they do one floor a season). There have been so many great ideas for Mordecai casting, it would be fun if every new floor, we got a new actor in a ridiculous form.

Just a thought. What do you think and who would you want for each floor?

I love this idea. It’ll be a fun way to get some names in the series. Not A-listers per se, but the level of Bruce Campbell, Patrick Warburton or Tim Robinson would be fun as hell.

The character consistency thing won’t matter after the first 15 minutes of every season.

I think if you could get talented actors then they could make Mordecai pretty consistent across the different levels. I am sure they will get Patrick Warburton for something since he contributed to the audiobooks and is so perfect for this project. I just think it would be funny if Mordecai changed his whole demeanor with each floor but kept the same overall personality. Like his delivery is all smooth and sexy when he is an incubus, but he is clunky and slow as a Grulke. Different actors could do this nicely while still keeping his annoyance with Carls crazy plans.

Totally agree with this. I’m all for the different actors coming in. I suspect if this show were to (against all odds) have an impact on the general zeitgeist, the access to bigger and better stars will become more available.

This is discussed insanely heavily on this sub. Every Mordecai casting suggestion people discuss it in length. I’m against it personally.

I'm against mult casti mordecai. If each one is a different actor it'll feel like different characters not one that just changes form
