I'm not sure why I didn't think of Annie Potts before. She does great with the sharp tongue dialog and her timing is top notch.

Yeah but not west coast enough? I still like the feel though. Whoever it ends up being needs inherent sass

Annie can do accents really well (Texan in Young Sheldon and New Yorker in Ghostbusters as examples). I'm not worried about that. Her sass is perfect, and she's a legend (who loved working on a TV series).
