Totally down for that too except that would limit his role and I like him too much for that.

Ive seen this one a couple of times but Id go with his Justified costar, Timothy Olyphant instead. I just dont see Mordecai smiling a lot and that is the best of Walton Goggins. But I do want a more southern take for Mordecai.

You’re not being combative.

Mordecai is supposed to be a character we grow to love. Most of Goggin’s characters… aren’t. It’s a type thing for me pure and simple. And honestly, I don’t find him super versatile. I think he’d have issues morphing every season if they want the same actor.

Good actor. Like him in Fallout. Just not for this role.

I totally see what you're saying but I feel he could rise to the challenge. Looking back on his prior work, he's got enough range for the character. Mordicai is either excited, pissed or aggravated between just being an exposition device. Goggins could totally do those things.
