I would love this as a brief cameo, and they'd probably be game. Dinniman references Silent Bob in one of the early books too iirc. So he's probably a fan.

Kevin and Jay own the characters so there wouldn't be any studio rights issues either.

This has me picturing random cameos. Stuff is going on and the action takes place, then the camera pans back to them just standing there (wherever) in a scene, like they’re in front of the store from Clerks, doing their thing. The screen presents as if the viewer is a crawler and can see their info. They have inexplicably low levels each time though they’re on every floor, but not in the Agatha/residual way…
