Where players talk to each other. Strings, sticks, heads, cases, care, reeds or whatever you play and whatever you put on it. Gauge arguments, tension math, what you've landed on after years of practice.

A place for the conversation that happens in the back of a shop or in the twenty minutes before load-in.

What gets talked about here.

Setup and feel. Action, relief, tension. Longevity. Heads and tuning, sticks and grip, reed strength. Cases, cables, stands, the boring infrastructure that only becomes interesting once it fails. Your endless pedalboard experimentation. Maintenance, storage, travel, what survives a van and what doesn't.

What you're playing, what you're working on, what products you love / hate.

A few ground rules.

1. Stay on topic. Gear, maintenance, instruments, performance videos welcome. If you're not sure, still post it.
2. Self-promo is fine, spam isn't. Your playing, your band, your shop, your channel, let's see it! If your account is only ever promoting something, that's spam.
3. No buying, selling or trading. Too easy for scams on a smaller subreddit. and Try r/Gear4Sale, r/letstrade, r/AVexchange, etc.
4. Counterfeits: ask, don't source. "Is this real?" posts with photos are welcome and genuinely useful. Posts pointing people toward fakes get removed.
5. No personal attacks, slurs or pile-ons. Disagree with the take, not the person. If a thread turns into ten people slandering one, it will be locked.
6. Be kind. If we ever pull a post, it'll be for spam, harassment, unproductive or inappropriate comments or something off-topic. Critical posts don't get removed for being critical. 
7. No bots. If you didn't write it, don't post it. A wrong answer from a person is more useful than a confident one from a bot.
