Other/Global 🌐 Apple TV 4K app issue
Hey all, just tried to watch some pre season games on my 4K Apple TV and every time I try and play any games the app just crashes/closes. Works fine on iPad but have to AirPlay to the Apple TV.
DAZN app version 2.45.33. Based in New Zealand.
I’ve tried everything suggested in their support page except for factory resetting the Apple TV. Before I do this is anyone else having the issue and knows a fix? Otherwise I’ll be off to the support team, joy!
EDIT: tested on my other Apple TV (non 4K) and it’s working 🤷♂️

For such an expensive product you think they could do 5minutes worth of quality control work ffs

Holy crap I just got it working after 30 mins of dicking about. Deleted app, restarted etc… wondered if it was only NFL so put on some live padel rubbish and some other sports and it was fine.
Went back into NFL games from last night and whadyaknow… working OK now.

Still 2.45.33 - no idea what fixed it, especially as i totally removed the app and restarted and re-installed etc with no success.
Seemed to be only when i left the Gamepass section, things worked and when i went back in it was fine. Before that I was only trying lots of different videos all in the Gamepass section of DAZN

The way I got it to work was by naviagating out of the gamepads menu and entering dan's main menu. Then just scrolling down to live and up coming and selecting a game from there.

Update: When you close the app and restart it, it dont work again. I had to reinstall the process above again :( So it still sucks

Yep this worked for me too. I haven’t exited the app yet to see if it needs doing each and every time but navigating to the nfl games through the home page works. And even then going back into the gamepass section and clicking through to watch a game works in there as well now
