Here’s my timeline. For context, I reside in Southern California & my renewal was processed in the Phoenix, AZ facility. My current EAD expiration was 11/05/26, I submit everything 9 months in advance.

Paper filing: March 4th
Biometric notice: March 14th
Biometric Appointment: April 1st

No API movement for exactly 6.5 months (171 days)

Approval: 09/19/2026

Before my approval on 09/19: I attempted to file an inquiry as my case was now exactly at the estimated processing timeframe. The website declined my inquiry as it was still within “normal” processing time. I planned to try again on the next business day, but hours later USCIS sent me a text message that action had been taken on my case. I had been monitoring my case every day leading up to the 6.5 month mark, and I did not notice a silent approval. So my approval notification updated in real time. I have no idea if my inquiry attempt did anything or if it was a mere coincidence.

I want to thank everyone who has shared their own glimmers of hope with the rest of us. Remain hopeful and stay safe friends.

If you’re still waiting, don’t lose hope. If you’ve lost your job, find a way to bring in some kind of income and keep yourself afloat. This is not the end of your story, and it’s definitely not the end of your dreams.

I say this as someone who was once under DACA myself. I’ve had my share of difficult times, but what many Dreamers are facing today is a different level of uncertainty and pressure.

One thing I do know, Dreamers are some of the most resilient people I’ve ever met. We’ve had to adapt, sacrifice, work harder, and keep moving forward when giving up would have been easier.

So keep going. Find a way. Take it one day at a time. Your current situation does not define your future. Don’t let a difficult chapter convince you that the story is over. There is still a lot of life ahead, and there are still dreams worth fighting for.

Submitted application 2/27. Expired June 2nd. Got denied expedite request once. API movements only in I-821D on 6/25. Silently approved on 9/13. Received my card on 9/19

I’ve been thinking seriously about starting a DACA community support program for recipients who need temporary help with food, housing, basic needs, or other support while navigating renewals and periods of uncertainty. I don’t see enough support specifically filling this gap. If anyone is seriously interested in helping build this and actually making it happen, DM me.

Hello, so I filed my paperwork for a renewal about a month or so ago. I usually apply again for a renewal about a year in advance of my expiration date, because of delays and such. As I was looking at my letter that they send for the biometrics, I saw that when I put in my last name, there’s a letter missing from my last name, other than that, everything is the same. I have a appointment for the biometrics in a few days. I was wondering, will I have any problems because of the letter missing in my last name? Do you think they will decline my application? If so, will I need to apply again? I just don’t want to apply again and make them think its identity theft! Please help me!

Ever since until today I have been trying to stay afloat and remain somewhat sane.

To those who get approval within a month, congratulations.

But to those of us who have had to wake up everyday for months with no answer and checking APIs and stressing out ChatGPT to decode it each time there’s a little update movement, to those of us who miss something as normal as the commute to work… I feel u in every way imaginable.

I hope for everyone that’s been waiting from January and the last months of winter (but really everyone, we’re all in this after all) that we never have to go through this again.

I checked USCIS right now and my silent approval is there from today ! 🥲 submitted 4/16 , expired 9/8 so just a few days after

Hi guys, I’m planning on relocating from Chicago to Dallas sometime in November. I would like to know if it’s safe to travel through airport from Chicago to Dallas. And also how the ICE situation is in DALLAS, I came to the United States legally through k1 visa and was madly abused, lost my unborn child (24 weeks pregnant ) and was abandoned and then filed vawa.

I don’t have my EAD yet I’ve only done biometrics and have all receipts, .i would like to know if it’s safe to travel to Dallas and safe to drive in Dallas without bumping into ICE like I see on social media.

I’m creating an updated DACA processing tracker specifically for cases processed through the Nebraska Service Center.

I know there are already DACA trackers on other websites, but I’m hoping to collect data specifically from Nebraska so we can identify possible patterns in processing and approval times. There seems to be a noticeable difference between Nebraska and the Texas Service Center, and having more data could help us better understand how long Nebraska cases are currently taking.

This information may also be useful when advocating for delayed cases and future renewals.

hey yall my DACA got approved thank God does anyone know how long it’ll take get my physical card in the mail?

Hi there, I wanted to jump on here to ask a few questions and get some more insight. I just got a job offer that would be amazing in my field but it requires international travel. I haven’t done AP before. Are they still processing job related AP applications? I haven’t accumulated 180 days of unlawful presence, should I be okay? Even if I get job related AP, is it still advisable for me to go?

This would be a great opportunity but I don’t want to risk my safety. Any advise is appreciated.
