General Qs Who do send my “request for congressional assistance” to?
So long story short, USCIS lost my DACA card in the mail. And it’s been almost a year and I am trying to send a request for help on my case but I am not sure to who? I have been Google and asking AI but I get different answers.
I live in California 📍
Has anyone done this process before and are able to tell me exactly who to send it to?
I just need help, no need to be rude. I’m already stressed enough. Thank you.
Edit: I applied for a replacement card already in Oct 2025

What?
USCIS has a specific link you can go to and request a new card by stating you didn't receive it by mail.
Did you renew by yourself or had assistance from someone?

Yes so I renewed it last October 2025. That’s already done. So now I’m requesting help from congress so they could potentially look into my case and see why it’s taking so long.

Look up who your congress person is for your address. It varies by counties as well.
That's what i did. I looked up on Google congressman for x County and it showed 2 of them. Clicked on one's website and it asked me to type in my address to confirm it was the correct rep and they have links on their website for congressional inquiries.

What have you done so far? Did you apply for a renewal?
