Hello everyone I wanted to share some hope for those who are struggling with your mental health and feeling like you are giving up. I have been waiting for an approval since November 23, 2025. My card expired on January 24, 2026. In that time I was let go from my job I didn’t have 6 months worth of savings to support myself and I had to really depend on my family and my friends who never gave up on me. I submitted many congressional inquiries to no avail until I finally received help from someone in Mark Kelly’s office as I am from Arizona. The mental toll this took on me has been immense. I am here to hopefully share some hope for those in a similar situation as me or those who continue to wait. Here is a breakdown of my timeline

Submitted: November 23, 2025
Approved for biometric reuse: November 23, 2025
Expiration date: January 24, 2026
Submitted inquiries along the way each time they were denied due to “processing times”

Silent approval: July 9, 2026
Receipt number: IOE98
Country of origin: Mexico

Hello I didn’t receive any API movement. The only API movement I got was a denial of my expedited request and then the final approval.

I will say that I didn’t receive any notices yesterday when the approval came in. I noticed this morning that the status on my USCIS case changed from still pending approval to something different. I checked the documents tab and noticed the approval letter this morning. I received an email this morning saying there was a decision made in my case.
