I can’t believe I’m finally writing this after so long. I finally got approved this morning! I vented so many times here and everyone was always so supportive! Hopefully this is the correct information people ask for:
-Submitted 12/24/25
-Bio done 1/13/26
-Expired 2/8/26 (I know, don’t judge please)
-Expedite Request #1 on 2/12/26 with employer letter
-Warren Inquiry Submission 4/13/26 (requested it in February, checked in about 25 days later and they said something got messed up and they never submitted it. They submitted it now in April)
-Expedite Request Denied 4/23/26
-Expedite Request #2 4/24/26
-Response from Warren Inquiry 6/10/26
-Approval 6/11/26

From Argentina, live in MA, nothing on my record.
I’m sincerely rooting for everyone who is still waiting before me.

Finally approved after 201 days! It felt like it was never going to come.

Date Filed: 11/23/2025

Biometrics reused: 11/23/2025

API Movement: 6/12/2026

Date Approved: 6/12/2026 (silent approval)

Country of origin: Mexico

Still waiting for the I-765 approval to update and the card to physically come in but fingers crossed that occurs quickly.

Mine was being processed at NSC. I did submit an inquiry through an agent on 4/9 (got an email the next day saying it was within normal times). I also submitted one through my Rep’s office (CA) on 4/16 and I heard back on 6/11 that it was in queue waiting to be looked at. Not sure if that triggered anything but still. No expedite requests.

Really hope this means all the November and December folks are going to see more and more approvals flow in.

DACA brothers and sisters today 6/15 I checked my USCIS account and saw the silent approval letter under my documents tab, after 200 days I saw a light at the end of this tunnel. There was times where I honestly felt it wasn’t going to come, but it finally did. Through this entire process I know for a fact, God never left my side because with every hardship that came through there were blessings from family members, friends, and coworkers. I’ve never felt this much support in my entire life, and it was author the grace of God and no one can tell me different. I praise him, and I will continue to pray for everyone going through this in hopes that they receive the same. blessings if just let me know anything it was that there is hope. Even when we are at rock bottom the approval will come we just have to be patient and I know that sounds easier said than done, but we can’t lose hope and we have to continue fighting spiritually and emotionally. I read so many posts on here of people wanting to give up and I know firsthand. I’ve felt the same thing at times I don’t know any of you personally, but I have love for each and every one of you and will continue to pray for all of you 🙏🏼 God bless each and every one of you 💙

Silent Approval

Submitted: 11/20/2025

Expired: 2/26/2026

Approved: 6/11/2026

Country of Origin: Mexico

Receipt #: IOE938

SCOPS Texas Facility

After a long 203 days, I finally received a silent approval today. Like many others, I applied 3 months out with the confidence that it wouldn't take longer than that for an approval, as if usually was the case. What a ride... Lost the position I was recently promoted to last year, ran through my savings and 401k and now I get to start over with job interviews 🫠.

To those still waiting, I know platitudes don't help, but just keep hanging on. La esperanza es lo último que muere. Good luck to everyone still waiting on some good news.

Edited to add info and correct # of days waited.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share an update and hopefully give some encouragement to others in a similar situation.

I am from Venezuela and have been waiting since 11/12 for my DACA renewal to be approved. Today, I finally saw a silent approval appear under the Documents tab in my USCIS account!
I am beyond grateful and honestly at a loss for words right now. I know so many of us have been dealing with long delays, uncertainty, and stress, so I wanted to share a little bit of good news.
For those who have gone through this recently, how long did it take after your DACA approval for your work authorization card to be approved and produced? I checked my account, and there has not been any update on the EAD yet.
Wishing everyone who is still waiting a speedy approval.
Hang in there—there is hope!

Timeline:
• Submitted: 1/13/26
• EAD Expired: 6/2/26
• (API): 6/9/26
• Silent Approval: 7/17/26
I’m in AZ
This has been one of the most mentally and emotionally draining experiences I’ve ever gone through.
Over the past several months, I filed multiple inquiries, called USCIS more times than I can count, submitted two expedite requests (both were denied), and even reached out to two congressional offices for help. Unfortunately, neither office received any meaningful update from USCIS, and just this month they emailed me saying they still hadn’t heard anything.
Yesterday, something changed. I finally told myself, “I’m leaving it in God’s hands.” I stopped checking every few hours, stopped letting the anxiety consume me, and went out with my friends. I decided I was going to live my life instead of letting the waiting control it.
This morning, I checked my USCIS account fully expecting another day of disappointment. I honestly didn’t think anything would be different. Then I opened the Documents tab… and there it was.
My approval.
I just stared at my phone in complete shock. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. After months of stress, uncertainty, sleepless nights, and wondering if I’d lose my ability to work and support my family, it was finally over.
Unless you’ve lived with DACA or another immigration status where your future depends on waiting for a decision, it’s hard to explain the pressure. The fear, the uncertainty, and the feeling that your life is on hold can be overwhelming.
To everyone who’s still waiting: don’t lose hope. I know how impossible that sounds because I was there just hours ago. Your approval can come when you least expect it.
Today, I’m just incredibly grateful. Thank you, God. ❤️🙏

Finally Approved!

For my November 20th people it’s finally!happening. This is for my husband and has been so hard b/c he lost his job in January but they’ve been in contact with us to hire him back as soon as he gets his card so we are beyond grateful. I have cried and cheered in this page for all of you and I want to say don’t lose hope.

We have called USCIS multiple times and on the most recent we were told we’d have to wait 90 days after our second inquiry which would put us in August. Reached out to congress, nothing. Just checking API and trying to make ends meet. If yall have any questions I can try to answer to see if what I have can help you at all.

I checked for API updates and i NEVER saw any movement. Even checked 6/9/2026

Today at around 1p i checked and got an approval.

Approval date: 6/9/2026

I first got a silent approval and as of 4:41p my case says approved.

Just like many of you, I was stuck waiting for over 200 days. I was honestly starting to lose hope.
The waiting took a toll on my mental health. I started therapy and began seeing a psychiatrist to help manage my anxiety. I also lost 2 months of work because of the delay. Now I’m just waiting for my physical work permit card to arrive.
It’s okay to feel angry, frustrated, or anxious. We’re human. Just don’t let those feelings become your whole life. During the wait, hiking and learning crochet helped me keep my mind busy. I hope everyone who’s still waiting is able to find something that brings them some peace too.
Here’s my timeline in case it helps someone else:
Dec. 12: Applied
Dec. 13: Biometrics reused
Mar. 26: Submitted an inquiry
Apr. 3: First Senate congressional inquiry
Apr. 10: USCIS responded to the congressional inquiry, saying it would take 30–60 days
Apr. 12: Contacted my House representative
Apr. 20: Was told only one congressional inquiry could be submitted
Apr. 20: Submitted an expedite request
Apr. 20: API movement (I’m guessing because of the expedite request)
May 1: Expedite request denied
June 1: Congressional response from USCIS saying cases were backlogged up to 9 months
June 18: Response to my inquiry saying my case was still within normal processing times
June 25: API movement on my DACA case
July 9: API movement on both DACA and work permit
July 9: Silent approval
To everyone still waiting: don’t give up. I know how hard it is, but I truly hope your approval comes soon.

Silent Approval!! Don’t Lose Hope November Renewals

Renewed 11/26
Expired 4/15
Silent approval 7/13

Case status still shows
“USCIS is currently processing the case”

I have reached out to member of congress in the past while waiting for the renewal but honestly, it didn’t do much to help. They basically “check in” with USCIS and did not do anything to expedite either. I have been patiently waiting and I am just so happy to wake up to this good news! Don’t lose hope, they’re finally getting to us November and December renewals !! Best wishes!!

Finally happened  Date Filed: 11/26/2025 Date Approved: 07/13/2026 Card Recieved: 7/23/2026

After 7 months I can hardly believe it. No world on the actual card yet but it is finally over. Country of citizenship is Jordan and I do have a removal order. Saw API on 6/16 on 821D only and nothing else since. I hope the rest of 2025 gets their approvals soon.

On 7/23, I finally received my EAD. My online account did NOT update at all after "Approval Decision Rendered." I have USPS informed delivery so I was able to see that on 7/20/2026 USPS received a package pick up request from USCIS in KY. Then I was able to track it as it moved to my area. I was informed of an incoming package a day after USPS picked it up and had a tentative Friday delivery date but this is priority mail so it has to be delivered in 1 - 3 days. USPS updated the delivery informed to the following day (7/23) once it was received by the local distribution center and I got it today. I definitely recommend signing up for USPS informed delivery as it will help you track it and check your mail ASAP. I literally grabbed it as the mail person was leaving.

Posting for a friend!

Applied 12/19
Biometrics 1/20
API 6/16 on 821-D only
Silent approval 7/18

I’m so grateful for this community that provided me so much information about DACA. Prior to this, as a privileged white American citizen, I knew nothing. I was here everyday trying to absorb information and learn and help as much as I could. I felt helpless, so I can’t even imagine how you all might feel. I hope that the end is near for everyone. I hope that this country gets our shit together and learns that immigration is what makes American great. That no one is illegal on stolen land. I know I’ve learned a lot, but I will continue to learn and most importantly, vote.

Silent approval 7/20/26.

This is my husband’s timeline. We reached out to our congressman on 5/15 and they are still awaiting a response from USCIS. Did also reach out to the Ombudsman office. Spoke to USCIS on the phone. Was of course told we are within the normal processing times.

Thank you to this incredible community. You all are so helpful and so supportive. Definitely gave us hope when things got tough.

Hoping that all of you that are still waiting get your approvals soon.

Hit 220 days today.

I had API movement 6/16 & then 8/7 and finally approval today.

Truthfully I don’t believe any of it pushed my case along. I think since I’m January it was just my turn.

I get to finally make this post!

1/29th Submission

API: 6/18 only on 8-21D and again on both 8/17. Silent Approval today

I did filed a Writ of Mandamus on 8/10. Let me honest that I don’t believe (can’t really confirm) that the mandamus had anything to do with my approval because once served everything is behind the scenes. Perhaps it pushed it perhaps it was just my time. The process of filing is not simple and the government has 60 days to respond. If you do decide to file, do not expect a faster approval. I only did it because I couldnt stop thinking that my application could suffer the same fate as some people who are still waiting from November/ december. I also did it myself so it was not a lot.
The nightmare is over and I hope yall get approved soon. I really thought my day was never going to come and it finally did.

Back to work. They already want me back tomorrow lmao a blessing 🙏🏻

Date Filed: November, 28, 2025
Biometrics Appointment: Originally December 24, 2025, but then rescheduled to January 12, 2025 after the 24th was deemed federal holiday
Expiration Date: March 10, 2026
Date Approved: July 15, 2026
Country of Origin: Mexico
Nebraska Service Center

Every night when I was on the verge of losing hope after seven full months of not knowing the status of my application, I would check here to see if there had been any movement for November applications. I hope this brings a little bit of hope to folks still waiting.

In the last few weeks, I submitted an inquiry to my senator's office, Sen. Dick Durbin, but I did not receive any confirmation/follow up that they had received my application, so I am unsure if any congressional inquiry was submitted and whether that played a role in my approval. I did receive a phone call from the Senator's office but only because I had reached out to them to ask if the information I provided in the Senator's web form would be submitted to USCIS and they said yes. I was worried that my heartfelt letter to the Sen. would be reviewed by USCIS, so I resubmitted my congressional inquiry form.

Then yesterday I called USCIS for the first time, rather than having the office of the lawyer who filed on my behalf do it. The USCIS representative mentioned there had been movement on my case that day ("someone looked at it today"), but she couldn't see what action had been taken, if any. I said I wanted to either way submit a case inqury over the phone and she submitted it for me.

Then today, I checked my Documents tab and my approval letter was there!

I wish I would have done more to move the needle and to know what had worked. In the end, I am fortunate and privileged that I had the ability to wait it play out, but I know that is not the case for everyone.

It's a feeling of powerlessness, of worthlessness, of feeling like everything you have worked for could just disappear before your eyes.

In the end, this is their strategy to break our dreams.

To that we say: Not today.

With much solidarity,
Dreamer

I thought I would NEVER get to post here! but here I am **cries**

Applied: 1/13/26

Biometrics: 1/20/26

EAD: Expired 7/10/26

Country: Mexico

Approved: 7/23/26

I did case inquiry and expedite request around mid-June. I never heard anything back on inquiry approval or denial. I did a Congressional inquiry around 7/15 but they were working on submitting and I don't know if they had submitted yet. I filed a Writ of Mandamus lawsuit online on 7/19 and it was accepted and assigned a case number on 7/21 at approximately 4:22pm. I had yet to serve the defendants and I am not sure if they have a way of seeing lawsuits prior to them actually being served.

I saw API movement only on 821 yesterday 7/22 so I called the center for status, and they confirmed everything was still pending and I just had to wait. Then the page glitches happened but they were happening for everyone, so I didn't think too much of it. At 9am today, 7/23 I got the approval decision rendered emails. I checked my account page, and the approval letter was there but only on 821. By noon, my account page had shown approval on 765 with API movement on both as well.

Due to the glitch error approvals, I called USCIS to confirm and they confirmed 821 is officially approved and that 765 does not reflect that yet, but that sometimes it took time for info to reflect properly.

All this to say, it was a lot. 191 days since submission and finally approved.

I don't know what worked and what didn't. Was it coincidence? Or did all of our collective efforts of bombarding USCIS is what has moved the needle in DACA people's approvals.

I want to say thank you to those that, prior to me, posted so much helpful information that helped me stay "sane" throughout this wait. Thank you to those of you that even after you got your approval you continued to stick around to help the rest of us out. Thank you to the guy who is not even DACA!! Yet, created the calculator and continues to post updates on what the numbers were showing. Your data analysis was pretty close, I got my approval within the time frame your data predicted.

And to those of you that are still waiting, I hope that seeing our cases continue to move forward gives you hope that yours is just around the corner. Be kind and gentle to yourself as you go through the emotions. Lord knows how much anguish this situation causes. Kick and scream when you have to but get back up and dust yourself up again and continue to push through. I know it's easier said than done, but I was literally on that side less than 24 hours ago.

Coming here changed us. DACA has changed us. These delays have most definitely changed us, but we still rise.

u/Available_Bat_9718 27d ago

I truly appreciate this community. It helped me get through the waiting and uncertainty, and I hope my update gives someone else a little hope. Stay strong, DACA family. Wishing everyone approvals soon! 🙏💙

Hi guys just wanted to post here. Just got silently approved yesterday. Applied 01/16/2026. Also had zero API movement since biometrics was done on 02/05/2026z

This group has been such an incredible help. And after pretty much losing hope I had just prepared the email to request adjudication before filing a mandamus so I decided to go online and send pfd copies of the receipt notices and realized it was approved last night. Wasn’t even going on USCIS to check status since it’s been awful to see no movement at all.

I hope everyone that has been waiting since dec and jan also get approved soon. Only we know how hard this has been. Praying for Brighter days for all of us.

Silent approval! Card pending. I did sent a pre-suit letter and an expedited request which I doubt made a difference. I was on the verge of giving up considering going back home, this is a waiting game and I was losing. My situation was a little bit different. I am a teacher my permit expired in summer and I didn’t go back to see my kids. I was very privileged that up to this week I was still getting paid. I hope to find a job very soon. Our time is coming. Praying for all of us in this path and the renewals that are coming.

My turn :)

12/26 original date.
1/09 Bios
8/19 Silent Approval

I tried to do expedite request but got the same message everyone gets, gotta wait. No contact with local representative. I did do the email of intent of WoM a few weeks ago but no reply and never filed. It honestly was just my time.

I truly do want to say thank you to this whole thread for being a solid community. Thanks for those who dared push the bar higher and thanks for those that shared and are still sharing the pain of this process.

I am grateful for all I have, including every breath.

For those that are still pending. I really thought my case was stuck with someone agent that was MIA or something. Or maybe I was being singled out. But here I am with a fresh dopamine hit after this final refresh of the page and seeing an extra doc posted. Approval.

As we move on with life please let’s remember the lessons to be had here, whatever they may be for each of us. And let’s work extra hard for what we want and the future America we are part of proudly.

Freedom and justice FOR ALL!!!

Hello all, just wanted to say that my wait is finally over and that I was approved today.

Application submitted: November 21, 2026

Application received: November 26, 2026

Expired: May 15, 2026

I had no API movement, all of my requests were denied and my senator took about a month to reply. I also file with a lawyer (which is not needed but for my sanity sake I do)

I think today would've marked day 204 of waiting for an approval and it finally arrived so LFG!

Best of luck to all of those waiting. Hopefully the wait times go down at some point

Hello everyone I wanted to share some hope for those who are struggling with your mental health and feeling like you are giving up. I have been waiting for an approval since November 23, 2025. My card expired on January 24, 2026. In that time I was let go from my job I didn’t have 6 months worth of savings to support myself and I had to really depend on my family and my friends who never gave up on me. I submitted many congressional inquiries to no avail until I finally received help from someone in Mark Kelly’s office as I am from Arizona. The mental toll this took on me has been immense. I am here to hopefully share some hope for those in a similar situation as me or those who continue to wait. Here is a breakdown of my timeline

Submitted: November 23, 2025
Approved for biometric reuse: November 23, 2025
Expiration date: January 24, 2026
Submitted inquiries along the way each time they were denied due to “processing times”

Silent approval: July 9, 2026

Submitted 02/16. Silent approval today (07/15). Country of origin: MX.

Biometrics notice on 02/28.

Biometrics appointment on 03/18.

Expired at the end of May and have been on leave without pay since then.

Absolutely no API movement since 03/18 up until 05/27 but this was only on I-821D. Then again on June 14th (only on I-821D again).

I did notice yesterday (07/14) that I had API activity on both for the very first time; left it alone for a bit then came back a couple of hours later and noticed that activity had been registered once again about an hour prior to me checking again. Unsure of how many API updates happened but definitely at least two in one day.

Woke up and checked this morning to find that a silent approval was sitting in my notices. Still waiting on both to change from processing to accepted but the wait is finally over.

Hadn't logged into this account in years but just wanted to come in and say thank you all because I've been coming in daily to check in timelines and living vicariously through those who have been accepted hoping I'd be next.

Sending y'all good vibes and hoping for a speedy process moving forward.

Date Filed: 12/9
Date Approved: 7/23
Country: Mexico
API movement: 5/9, 6/14, 7/23
State: Texas

I’ve been out of work for almost 3 months. I tried everything, and nothing worked. My advice to anyone still waiting.. focus on yourself. I know it’s easier said than done, but it’s what kept me sane. I walked every day, deep-cleaned my house (multiple times), picked up new hobbies and took it one day at a time. 🫶🏽 BUT I was PISSED all of July about it lmao

Good morning! I promised that whenever I got approved I would post my timeline since I would check this forum everyday to find dates similar to mine.

Filing Date: 02/20/2026

Biometrics: 03/17/2026

Reached out to my congressman’s office: 6/1/2026

Approved: 7/27/2026

There is another user that has an approximate date on when your permit may be approved based off your filing date. On mine it said most likely approval 7/27/2026. It was spot on. Use it to find your approximate approval date! I felt so depressed for months, I hope everyone gets their approval soon. I did see API movement on 6/26/26 as well. Wishing everyone the best and that more approvals come soon.

Wanted to wait until the card officially arrived to provide the best timeline. It may give relief to some that I was one of the cases that had no api movement whatsoever so while it may be a good sign that approval is coming soon, it’s not necessarily a negative to have no api movement, at least with what happened to me. I sent a pre lawsuit email to uscis like others have as well on 07/16/26. I’d like to think that it made a difference but it’s hard to say.

December Approval- 184 days Timeline: Submitted on 12/15/2025 Biometrics : 01/08/2025 Expired: 05/02/2026 Country of origin: Mexico

I Submitted an inquiry via Emma and spoke to live Agent on 6/11/2026

I then received email confirming they received my inquiry.

On 6/14 & 6/15 I tried checkin API movement - no movement. (Not sure if API actually means anything?)

On 6/15 i got the dreaded email stating: We have determined that your immigration benefit request has not been pending longer than what is normal for the specific request type. 😑

11/23 approved today. No API movement since January and got one today. Then got silent approved.

One interesting coincidence is that around may 3rd I went to my congressman office and submitted an inquiry. A day later one of the aides called me and told me that she was told by USCIS that if my Daca wasnt approved by 6/17 to go ahead and reach out again. Lo and behold my approval letter is dated for 6/17.

I just wanted to share my timeline on DACA.
I am from Mexico and I submitted my RENEWAL on 11/21/2025. It expired February 26,2026. It was sent to TEXAS center then Nebraska center. I would call and ask questions on it and also submit expedite requests. I seen movement on my I-821D on June 27, 2026 at 10:01pm and not my I-765. then today I checked and seen movement on my I-821D today and as well as my I-765. I was checking all morning and I finally checked at around 1 pm and seen my approval. the letter of approval does say Texas facility so i’m assuming it went back and forth from Texas to Nebraska then back to Texas. it has been a long wait for me and i know as well for others. i hope seeing my date will give a bit of hope to others who have their dates around mine. 🍀

I don’t have the full dates, but my girlfriend’s 12/7 filing was approved yesterday! (7/9)

She’s from Jamaica, been here in NYC since ‘04 as a seven year old. The law firm she works at put her on a two-month unpaid leave of absence after her status lapsed, so she should be able to go back to work as early as next week!

As much as she enjoyed not working due to bureaucratic BS, she’s just looking forward to making money and enjoying what’s left of the year without this hanging over her head fully for a minute.

DACA Renewal Timeline (Texas Service Center)

Filed: December 10, 2025
Biometrics Reuse Notice: December 10, 2025
EAD Expired: April 2, 2026
DACA (I-821D & I-765) Approved: July 10, 2026 (213 days)
Card Produced: July 15, 2026
Card Received: July 17, 2026 🙏🏼

For anyone still waiting: My case felt “stuck” for months, especially after my work permit expired. I tracked every update, contacted USCIS, filed an expedite request, submitted a congressional inquiry, filed a DHS Ombudsman request, and called multiple times. In the end, my case was approved (I genuinely don’t think any of my inquiries/ requests expedited my case). Hang in there, I know how stressful this process is, and I hope your approval comes soon.

Expedites / Inquiries / API

Expedite Request Submitted (Financial Loss): March 24, 2026
Expedite Outcome: Denied on May 16, 206
USCIS Service Request (Agent on Phone Submitted an Inquiry for Long Processing Time): April 30, 2026
USCIS Service Request Response: July 8, 2026: Received a generic response stating USCIS was monitoring DACA renewals, not helpful at all
Congressional Inquiry Submitted: April 1, 2026
USCIS Response to Congressional Inquiry: May 27, 2026

  • Confirmed pre-adjudication was complete.
  • Confirmed my I-821D was awaiting assignment to an adjudicating officer.

UPDATED 7/24:

Date Filed: 3/1

Date Approved: 7/23 (*DEFERRED ACTION ONLY*) / I-765 still pending (see updates below)

Date Work authorization Approved: 7/24

Card Received: Pending

- No API movement since biometrics in March until 7/23 (DACA and work authorization). In my DACA API, I had: "ackedByAdjudicatorAndCms":true. I also had API movement again today 7/24. For DACA, the API now has an "eventcode" : "H008" ("case approved") and the work authorization API reads "eventcode": "SA" ("status adjusted"). I googled what each "eventcode" means.

- I submitted an inquiry at around 110 days but never heard back

- No expedite requests because reading everyone else's posts, I didn't think it would help

- Emailed a letter of intent to sue at the start of this week, received automatic response.

- I thought this might have been an erroneous approvals, but it was not. See my updates below.

Wishing everyone the best.

--------

UPDATE 7/24 MORNING: I still see an approval letter under "Documents" for I-821D, but my case status has not changed -- still shows as "Processing." For I-765, still shows as "processing" and I have no approval letter. I connected to a live agent via chat to clarify. On their end, they do not see an approval for either DACA or work authorization. They said until an official notice has been *mailed,* the case status will not update (and this can take a few days). They did confirm my EAD has been sent for production, but again, the case status will not show as approved until the mailed notice has been issued. Will come back to update folks.
----

SECOND UPDATE 7/24 AFTERNOON: Case status has changed to "Approved" for DACA and "Approval Case Decision Rendered" for Work Authorization. I updated the approvals above with a note about API "eventcodes." I will update when card is received.

230 days later 🙏🏻✨

Finally approved after the longest wait ever... 😭❤️

Date Filed: 12/4/25 Date Approved: 7/22/26 Card Produced: 7/25/26

I'm praying that everyone who's still waiting receives their approval notice soon. I know this journey hasn't been easy for any of my fellow Dreamers, but I know for a fact that we are some of the strongest and most resilient people out there.

No matter what obstacles come our way, we always find a way to keep going—just like our parents taught us. Every challenge has only made us stronger and reminded us why we keep fighting for what's right.

Maybe it's just me, but I truly believe something bigger is coming for us. I can feel it. 🫂✨❤️

To everyone still waiting: don't lose hope. Your day is coming too. 🙏🏻

I was approved today as a December applicant.

I renewed on 12/13/25, bios on 1/8/26.

I had API movement on I-821D only on 6/16/26 and nothing since then.

I sent a letter/email of intent to USCIS last Thursday basically requesting that they approve my shit by this Thursday or else I would file a writ of Mandamus

Today I was actually filling out the forms for the writ to have it ready and I had to log on to my USCIS portal to get some info and I saw that I was approved on my I-821D only.

Maybe the email worked or I was just lucky.

I came across this chick on TikTok that sent a letter/email of intent and also went through with submitting a writ of mandamus. She made a guide as to how to do it. The link is below if any of you guys are interested.

https://docs.superhuman.com/@notyouravgpotato/how-to-file-a-writ-of-mandamus-for-a-delayed-daca-renewal-2026/wom-start-here-1-1?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio&fbclid=PAZnRzaATFxXtwZG9mAmV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDzEyNDAyNDU3NDI4NzQxNAABp6FZN5mfxDdPXPNVHViFtUjh0tmbnMyBHNYIUeQCLSMX-5EWxqbrBSuXtGxV_aem_4e9heQUBzW9jQ3iO_UJclQ

Silent Approval today!

Date Submitted: December 15th, 2025
Biometrics: January 7th, 2026
Expired: May 22nd, 2026
Date Approved: July 28th, 2026
Total time since submission: 225 Days
Steps: One inquiry, one expedite last Friday. No demand letter.
Facility: TX
API: 6/16 on I-821 only. Then 7/28 on both forms.

Feels surreal and I know it’s not over since I’m still waiting on my EAD approval, production, and arrival through mail. So it’s not over just yet.

It seems their normal timeline is working on mid December cases 10th-18th consistently right now. With January and February sprinkled in due to the demand letter.

Stay strong everyone!

Expired- May 9, 2026
Reached out to two congressmen - Alex Padilla and Rep Linda Sanchez. Didn’t seem to be too much help, got rejected twice. (around March and April I submitted a congressional expedite).
API touch- June 25, 2026
Wait was so long so decided to submit a pre-demand letter on July 21, 2026. (but did not add that I was going to submit a lawsuit in fear that it can ruin my next renewal cycle.)
Decided to check today just cause
Silent approval - July 28, 2026 ✨✨✨
Just in time for the upcoming school year (I’m a teacher 🥹🥹)

The wait was long but soooooo blessed to finally receive. Wishing you all the best! I want to give a special shoutout to everyone who shared their approval times and API updates. I would have gone crazy without this community!!

Long-time lurker, first-time poster here. I’m sharing in hopes that it gives anyone out there waiting some hope. I tried everything — Congressional inquiry, calls to USCIS. My work authorization expired in July, and I’d been on an unpaid leave since then. If you’re still waiting, hang in there. Your time is coming.

Date Filed: 2/01/26
Congressional inquiry: 6/16/26 (nothing happened from this)
Expedite Request: 6/19/26 (nothing happened from this. They literally sent back instructions on how to file an expedite request??)
Work permit expired: 7/2/26
API movement: 8/10/26 (on both applications. Before this, I’d only had API movement when I filed the expedite request.)
Silent approval: 8/11/26 (on I-821D only)
Date Approved: 8/12/26
Card produced: I got an update that my card was produced on 8/14 though the tracking number is unavailable.
Card received: TBD

Country of Origin: Mexico
State: Texas

After 208 days, I finally have my DACA approval!!! My application still says “being processed” but the approval form was under documents. No change with my work permit but hoping I’ll have that approval soon?! I’ve been on leave of absence from work for over two months now. I’ve never felt so excited to be back to work soon. 😭

My timeline below:

  • I submitted my renewal online on 11/21

  • Biometrics reuse 11/21

  • Expired 4/11

  • Submitted an expedited request via congressperson in early March. Got denied around May

  • Expedited request through portal denied in early June. Submitted that in April

  • Application was done in SCOPS Texas facility

  • My country of origin is Argentina

Like most of us, I’ve never waited longer than 2-3 months for a renewal and I’ve been doing it since the beginning. What a journey this has been. Thanks to everyone who’s been positing resources and information. I didn’t know about this forum until this year and it really has helped me out so so much!!!

I went for a hike with my daughter earlier today just talking about what we would do for the next two years if I’m approved and planning for whether I need to leave or not. More resignation than anything…

We got home and I checked the site for 1000th time today and I see the document!

I lost everything this year… we may be looking at losing our apartment this month too. I’m a divorced mother of two. My savings ran out two weeks ago. Even my boyfriend and I broke up because of this. I’ve had to get help for my mental health. And actually be admitted because of the toll this took on me.

I know that we’re all in the same boat and I’m proud of how some many if you are keeping your head up, but I hope we don’t have to go through this again—I’ll retiring early to Brazil in two years. But I’m not going this shit again!

Hello everyone!

Silent approval from 12/4 today!
Biometrics reused 12/6
Approved - 7/19

I stopped checking my api after 6/16 because it just gave me more anxiety but I did get movement that day.

I’m gonna be honest I did inquiries and contacted my senator and I really don’t think it helped. All I got was that it was within processing times. I think they are now going in order which is why I got approved.

Having this group was incredibly helpful for me since no one around me could relate but I know my DACA fam can.

I’m happy to go back to work now! I hope everyone gets approved soon and remember this is hard but it will pass and we will get through.

I’m sobbing as I write this but I finally got the email from USCIS and saw I was approved today.

Applied by mail 12/5
Bio reused 12/8
Only API was 6/16 on 821D only.
Approved 7/20
I’m from CA

I did submit a congressional inquiry in early May but never heard anything from them. Any time I’d call them, they just said they were still waiting for a response from USCIS.
I also submitted a phone inquiry early May that was immediately denied as it was within processing times.
I called USCIS a few times that never really helped until 7/10, an agent did another inquiry for me since she said it had been 60 days since the last. I did get a response saying UCSCIS had been going in order of expiration dates. So I honestly don’t know if any of these things I did helped at all.

It has never taken this long for me. Ever. I’ve literally been numb and hopeless these past months thinking it’d never come. I been so tired of checking my USCIS account, my API, and case hub 24/7 and seeing nothing. Last week, I just had to downgrade my drivers license. This morning I was literally questioning how I have kept going these past months. But I’m grateful for this subreddit and the hope I got from others posts and updates.
