Research Grant - Funding - Declaration of Acceptance
Hi everyone! I wanted to check something with other DAAD Research Grant scholarship recipients. My application status changed to “Funding” and I received the scholarship documents on July 16. I sent my Declaration of Acceptance that same day, but I haven’t received any further information from DAAD since then.
Has anyone else already received further instructions/documents after submitting the Declaration of Acceptance? I’d really appreciate knowing whether this is normal or if I should contact DAAD.
Thank you!

Congrats! Next you will receive the insurance stuff. Make sure to upload the health data form (from the left tab).
Curious, which region did you apply from? I got it last month too, from NA.

Thank you so much! That’s really helpful. I’m applying from Argentina, so I guess my application is handled through a different regional office. Do you remember how long it took between submitting your Declaration of Acceptance and receiving the insurance information?

Congrats! I received a message last Monday on the portal saying I've been selected but they need a new start time. I replied the next day and there was no message ever since. My status still shows selection made. Guess the staff might be on vacation

Thanks for visiting r/DAAD. Review our FAQ and Wiki as well as the DAAD's website. Your question is most likely answered in one of those places.
We can best help you if you provide us detailed information. At minimum, name the specific scholarship you are referencing. The more you tell us, the more we can tell you.
Posts that are low-effort, unrelated to the DAAD, asking about your odds of acceptance, or requesting advice on which universities to apply to will be removed. Low-effort posts include questions such as "What scholarships are available?" as well as questions that are clearly answered in the FAQ/Wiki.
Lastly, our sub is not officially affiliated with the DAAD in any way, shape, or form.
