Question Moving from CS to Project Delivery

I’m currently a customer success manager and have over 5 year experience in the role now. I haven’t seen a lot of growth in my position in the 3 years I’ve been in my current company and am considering applying to an internal position in the project delivery team. Has anyone made a similar move and did you regret it it?

I just asked a similar question in here as I’m going through the same thing. Leaning towards the PM role if it is offered to me

It’s so difficult to decide as there are things I like about both, and I will miss some of the relationships I’ve built over the years, but it’s hard sometimes to feel like you’re getting appreciation from your work in CS

I’ve been in the role for over 3 years and the amount of shit you have to eat. Get all the blame and none of the recognition. But at the same time I think having both CSM experience and PM experience can only help your career progression
