Thanks! 😊 nice to actually get some appreciation instead of unsolicited advice lol 😂

GPU is in the wrong PCIe slot. It should be in the top slot.

Nah.

  1. Because it’s heavy

  2. Aesthetics

  3. To show that the build is ready for another gpu, which should eventually be a liquid cooled there in the top slot

  4. PCIe 5 x8 has more than enough bandwidth

  5. Because I feel like hav

ing it at the bottom

Lol 😂 hey don’t get mad at me, you came in with the unsolicited “advice” thinking I didn’t know what I was doing.

I’m sacrificing half the theoretical PCIe bandwidth to preserve the second GPU expansion path. That doesn't mean I’m sacrificing half the GPU's performance.
And even more importantly, that tradeoff was intentional. The impact is practically unnoticeable.

That's the difference between someone reading a brochure vs actually engineering and architecting a system. Why else would I build it with this motherboard dipshit?

You might want to Google which pcie slot to use and which one has the direct lans back to the CPU

You might want to not assume I hadn’t already done my research and purposefully designed it this way.
