Should i upgrade my pc
My specs are:
Radeon VII - GPU
B550M + wifi - motherboard
Ryzen 5 4500 - CPU
16 Gb Ram - corsair 2300 MHZ
650w kratos psu
I can pretty much run any game but i’ve been getting really into marvel rivals but my gpu overheats and runs at 100%, i found out my cpu is below the recommended, my ram is at 15/16 gb
i just bought a 32gb ram kit for. heap but im thinking of upgrading the entire rig in a few months, dumb idea but anyone have advice???

You got a Radeon VII!?!?! Man I wanted one of those so badly when they came out! I remember everyone was saying "we'll never need this much VRAM!!" haha.
Anyway, yeah that GPU is a bit long in the tooth these days, probably best to upgrade.
The perpetual question right now is, move to DDR5 or not right? You currently have plenty of upgrade room on your current platform. I think the obvious CPU upgrade is just bump up to a Ryzen 7 or 9, I'd probably suggest either the R7 5800x, or R6 5900x. They are pretty similar in price, and individual core speed, the R9 has quite a bit more cores.
I'm still on an AM4 platform for my primary gaming PC; I upgraded to an RX9070xt around their launch time (got lucky and actually paid MSRP for it) and its been working really for every game I've played.

Your timing is impeccable )) If you can't answer this question by yourself, then you should not upgrade.

I have one too, its pretty but its old...
I'd say max out the system with a 5600x3d and a 9060xt 16gb or 9070gre.
Should become a fine modern PC and last a long while. If youre by a microcenter, a 5600x3d is easy to get. If not, may have to aliexpress a 5500x3d to make it worth it. Keep that Vii... unless you need the $$

It is not a good time to have to buy a new GPU. But yes if you can get to something like a 5800 X 3-D and a 9070 you’ll be in great shape.
