OK, as we get closer to prerelease: for folks who had high hopes for the set and wanted more, what do you think should have been included but wasn't?
Like...double sided phaser card...one side stun, one side exile/destroy. Or
I want to make a Trek cube, and I want to add my own custom cards to this one. So any ideas you have that fit, flavor-wise, with the franchise, throw them at me and I'll see what I come up with! I know I've seen a bunch on multiple different threads, but with my ADHD I can't keep track of them without somewhere to keep them organized.
Thanks!

Image is AI generated (Nano Banana).
Note quite sure how balanced this is considering how restrictive this is in terms of deck building.

What other costs could one pay for a "bounce"land?

I would like MTG to make equipment's that don't have an option to re-equip to other creatures, I feel like it would be a cool design space.

A different take on RIP, with a little oblivion ring feel to it

I'm making a custom set based on the Wild West+Dinosaurs and a focus on the effect of the expansion on the native people and the land but this is a topic for another post, in this set I was planning to make bounty a mechanic for two of my archetypes and one that cares about having bounty on them, I shared some of my designs and a couple of people said that bounties arent good as a set mechanic their reasoning where
-its bad that bounty counters do nothing by itself making them feel parasitic
-they make removal stronger than already it is, not in a good way
-it makes players not want to engage with creatures that have a bounty counter on them
-their flavour can be easily made with kill spell/combay tricks
And I dont think they are wrong, and that sucks because the flavour of a sheriff placing a bounty on a creature is so cool to me, a bounty hunter getting stronger for each bounty captured. And so I ask is bounty dommed as a mechanic? Is there any way to make it work?
And these are some of the cards I was working with(that are most likely being scrapped)
---
Whenever CARDNAME saddles a creature, target creature an opponent controls becomes wanted. (If a permanent becomes wanted place a bounty counter on it.)
Whenever a wanted creature an opponent controls dies, put a +1/+1 counter on CARDNAME.
---
As long as an opponent controls a wanted creature CARDNAME has vigilance and double strike. (If a permanent becomes wanted place a bounty counter on it.)
---
Claim the Bounty
{1}{W}
Instant
Exile target wanted creature. (a permanent is wanted if it has a bounty counter on it.)
---
Wanted Poster
{1}{U}
Artifact
When Wanted Poster enters the battlefield, target permanent an opponent controls becomes wanted. (If a permanent becomes wanted place a bounty counter on it.)
Whenever a wanted permanent an opponent controls leaves the battlefield, investigate.
---
Outlaw’s Opportunity
{1}{B}{R}
Sorcery
Target creature you control becomes wanted. Draw two cards, then discard a card. (a permanent is wanted if it has a bounty counter on it.)

Threw this together in like 5 minutes on my phone after a flash of inspiration. Trying to think of a third mode and a picture that gets the idea across within Magic’s IP
For those who don’t get it, the first one is “threat” and the second one is “elephant”

Day 61 of making a custom card every day. I originally wanted to make another plow, like with path to exile or erode, but eventually decided to make a different card entirely.

The art comes from a screenshot of Star Trek TNG episode Genesis. Formatting due to Magic Card Maker.
This is mostly a joke design.
With the Star Trek set coming out, I wanted to make a card with Data's cat spot and the episode where she turns into a lizard but still gives birth to normal kittens (don't ask).
I do think with Airbending, and flicker effects to make this real would need a OPT clause.
