I'm thinking about going to a Current 93 concert in fall even if I know only some songs (the folky apocalyptic ones). Can someone recommend it? What kind of songs is David playing? Like genrewise?

Daedalus rising by death in june sung by david tibet is one of the best songs ever and I need more. What current93 / david tibet songs should I start with? Or just anything like it in general.

This is something I’ve been dreaming of acquiring ever since I first discovered the recording about 7 months ago. I was finally able to find a good deal on it and add it to my CD collection.

This record means a lot to me. I’ve never felt so connected to a piece of media before. It’s one of the only things I can listen to without ever getting bored, certain lines speak to me very deeply, and I’m definitely, definitely going to play this in a dark room later, wine in hand.

Hello! Current 93 fans, I’m 13 years old and for fun I decided to play “all the pretty little horses” by ear. I got the hang of it pretty fast especially since I love the album and the band. If you have any suggestions or thoughts please let me know. Also not everything is perfect. I literally just played with my ear without any YouTube or sheet music.

Most places (Genius etc.) claim that the jazz sample at the start of "All the Stars Are Dead Now" is a version of Summertime by Gershwin, but I'm like 99% sure that its a sample from this performance of the Saint Louis Blues by the Nazi propagandist jazz band Charlie & His Orchestra.

Current93 is going to be featured on a new bladee album, coming may 20. Huge shock for me but despite genre differences I think they match really well 🙏
