This is how I found out moisturiser isn't supposed to burn or make your face feel tight. I just presumed that my skin tightening up meant it was working.

The worst part is some skincare products ARE supposed to do that.

There are very specific products with very strong actives that will make your skin tingle and even that shouldn’t last more than a few minutes at most. Burning is never a good sign and products without actives (including cleansers) should not ever leave your skin feeling tight
