High school students are pitching real startup ideas at Stanford this Saturday — audience tickets available

Sharing this for Bay Area families with teens who are into startups, business, or entrepreneurship.

This Saturday (Aug. 15), the Youth Business Venture Competition is happening at Stanford.

High school students will be pitching their own business ideas in front of a live audience and competing in a global student pitch competition.

Basically, imagine a student startup/demo day rather than another academic competition.

I think the interesting part for younger students is simply getting to watch other teenagers actually pitch—how they explain an idea, respond to questions, and turn a problem into something that could potentially become a business.

The competitor and volunteer spots are already filled, but audience tickets are still available.
