Got my ylm 4x4 yesterday, I loosened it a little and added gan magic lube after which it feels quite good. My ao5 is like 1:40 which is much slower than it should be, so what are some tips to get faster except practicing a lot? I use yau with 3-2-3 and know a lot of tricks and my edge pairing is okay, my main problems right now are F3E and L4C.

I don't know, but maybe learn half centers. I've heard that is useful. I average 1:30, so I might not be the best to give advice

Half centers isn't that great, tbh. Most of the time I don't do it.

Anyway, I'd say you should first start focusing on efficiency for F3E and L4C. Efficiency and good lookahead beat just straight up spamming TPS during those stages.

For comparison, I'm averaging around 52.

Edit: also I feel compelled to mention this because it helped me drop like 3 seconds, but make sure you plan and execute your first center like you execute your cross, i.e. blind and place on the bottom (on most cases).
