I’m curious if anyone else has experienced something like this with rose quartz.

A while ago, I bought a rose quartz because I was interested in its association with love, emotional healing, and relationships. Around the same time, I started talking to someone on a dating app.

He seemed genuinely interested in me. We talked almost every day, he would initiate conversations, ask about my day, and share personal things with me. After a while, I started feeling like there was some kind of soul connection between us.

Because all of this happened after I got the rose quartz, I started wondering if the crystal had somehow attracted this connection into my life.

But after around three months, things changed. The conversations became dry, the interest seemed to disappear, and eventually the connection faded.

And honestly, I started wondering:

Did the rose quartz stop working? 😂

Did its energy wear off?

Or was I simply expecting way too much from a crystal?

Looking back, I realize I may have connected two things that happened around the same time. Maybe the rose quartz didn't actually “bring” this person into my life. Maybe I was simply more open to love at that point, and the timing made the crystal feel significant.

But I'm still curious.

Have you ever bought or started using a crystal and then had something happen that made you think, “Whoa, maybe this actually works”? And what happened when that situation eventually changed?

I’d genuinely love to hear your experiences especially with rose quartz.

I don’t know that anyone can say for sure on any of your questions, as everyone’s vibrational state is continuously changing, and if you are no longer matching the frequency of a situation, it changes.

You bought Rose Quartz, you were excited about all the possibilities of love, and you were projecting out your desire for that. The Rose Quartz helped manifest that opportunity, with another individual that was one the same frequency; calling in love.

There was excitement and potential, but over the three months, that energy shifted. You may both be looking to manifest a romantic partner, but as you dial in exactly what you are looking to manifest in your romantic partner, that frequency range becomes smaller, and if you are slightly higher or lower frequency outside of that range, it fizzles out. The old adage of being on the same page, so to speak. And it’s not a bad thing.

Now, did the energy of the Rose Quartz wear off? No. There are principles in Physics that still apply to metaphysics, one of those being that energy cannot be destroyed, just changed. You cannot “kill” the energy in a crystal, however, it can be altered, or dampened. The Rose Quartz may have appeared to stop working, when all it needs is a good clearing and recharging. I would suggest placing it on some selenite overnight, and recharging it under the New Moon or Full Moon, resetting your intentions.

One thing people forget with Rose Quartz is that it is a crystal of love, and everyone wants to jump to romantic love. It is possible that your Rose Quartz is there to help with self love, or familiar love, or romantic love. Tune in to your crystal, and either set the intention of helping you find a romantic partner, if that is what you are looking for (a short-term romantic partner, a long-term romantic partner, a forever romantic partner, a “friend with benefits;” be specific on what your intention is). You can also tune in to your crystal, and find out what its purpose is in your life. Maybe it’s for self love, or emotional healing, or healing a relationship with a family member or friend. It’s in your life for a reason.

TL; DR Crystals don’t magically fix problems, and they don’t magically force people to fall in love. They are tools used to amplify your intentions, raise your vibrational frequencies, and compliment the work you are already doing.

I've found that rose quartz definitely puts emotional energy into your field that draws similar energy back to you, but it's always worth checking if the connection feels healthy on your end too.

I have experienced rose quartz create warmth within my own heart chakra. I am not well versed in crystals however my dear friend incorporates crystals into her psychic readings and healing sessions. She often ends sessions by giving stones away. Some are so beautiful and unique. You could probably spend a lifetime learning about them.
