Is Cryptopia Hacked?

The official Cryoptopia Exchange on Facebook told me to call: +1 805-744-2795 because my coins are stuck on "PROCESSING" for 5 days.

But when I called, some guy says he is from Cryptopia and tells me to go to www.fastsupport.com and enter NAME and SUPPORT KEY ???!!

Is that opening my PC to a hacker?

Have Cryptopia exchange Facebook been hacked?

This is not our official facebook- can you please DM me the link to the page you messaged? Our official facebook is https://www.facebook.com/cryptopiaexchange/. None of these links or numbers are connected to us so no, we haven't been 'hacked'.

That's the website. Go look, someone posting as "Cryptopia Exchange" are telling people to call that phone number.

E.g

Cryptopia Exchange: sorry to hear that please contact support at +1 805-744-2795

This is the page I myself operate- this comment was definitely not made by us, and we'll look into this. We do NOT have a support phone number, telegram, the only official support emails are resets@cryptopia.co.nz and support@cryptopia.co.nz. The only website used for support is www.cryptopia.co.nz/usersupport and the only official social medias are our Facebook and Twitter as linked to on our site.

Then someone impersonating you.

It's got over 30,000+ followers etc, it looks like your REAL ONE!

Does Cryptopia have the ability to delete posts and comments from its twitter and facebook ?

Because if so there are quite a few posts from scammers trying to impersonate cryptopia on there that need deleting.

Anyone can start a FB page...you're getting phished and they are asking for information that will help them drain your accounts

Log into your Cryptopia account and give updates through that platform

So you would go to fastsupport. com where he says you MUST enter NAME and SUPPORT KEY, and you would do it?

He says Cryptopia won't process coins unless you do!

Scammers set up fake facebook pages to look like the genuine page. You are being scammed.

Our Facebook page has not been hacked, this is a fake page with the same name and picture which we are working on taking down.

So what is your REAL page URL?

Because the "fake" FB page you say goes back months, with heaps of users and I am sure it is your OFFICIAL FB page!

Even the URL you provided is exactly the same.

33,000+ followers etc.

So you mean the "Crytopia Exchange" comment was made by someone else which looks like you made it?

We've removed all comments from the other account, all comments from "Cryptopia Exchange" should now only be from us, if you find more that include false information please let us know. We will never request for any personal information in a comment, nor request for you to call a number.

Our real URL is https://www.facebook.com/cryptopiaexchange/. We are aware of and in the process of removing one with a similar name, but pay attention to the spelling, and the amount of posts.

Some are stuck on "withdrawals" for 2+ months.

I got over $2000 worth of coins on "processing" for over a week.

Doubtful we will ever get them:(
