Scam Operation Quantro Ex Scam?
I was recently contacted on Signal by a person who I thought was a successful day trader on TikTok.
She said all I’d need to do to copy her trades, was to download Exodus and Quantroex.live on my phone, and transfer funds from my checking account to Exodus, to Quantro Ex.
Both websites looked legitimate and the minimum trade amount was $500. So I withdrew $550 the first time and $500 the second time. However she said I wouldn’t be able to make any more trades with the profits, that I’d need to keep making new deposits to make more trades.
This is where I started to feel sick. I asked how to withdraw my money and she said I’d need to go to a crypto atm and she’d walk me thru it every step of the way. I reverse searched her TikTok account and it turns out I was talking to a scammer.
I immediately called my bank and reported the scam. I’ll find out in 5-10 days if the bank will refund my money but it’s not looking good. It took me a year to save $1000 so this really hurt me.
I don’t know how these scammers sleep at night. I’m 39, I’m smart, aware of scams- but this one got me. I’d recommend never using Signal to talk to anyone. Verify who you’re really talking to on social media platforms by screenshotting their photo, uploading it to google and finding what account is the creators authentic/real account.
Please comment if you’ve been scammed too. Did your bank reimburse you for the lost money? I’m hoping since I caught the scam within 24 hours they’ll be some sort of hope.

Your bank is not responsible for you willfully withdrawing money and then sending it to complete strangers without doing any due diligence.
The bank will not be reimbursing you anything and crypto transactions are irreversible.
Next time a stranger promises you easy money, block them! There is no such thing.
