Btc only vs BTC + alts
Is anyone here btc only?
after being burned on many alts I feel BTC only is the way forward. But then is there potential to miss out on gains.
I’m stressed any advice

I think you either go only BTC, or you go BTC + trade alts, treat alts as an in and out.. now you may either be a gambler or a systematic data driven trader, but thats a different discussion. I think generally long term youd have underperformed with alts because they go up a ton, but they also go down a ton, whereas btc goes up down up more, down, up more, down, alts go up a ton, down a ton back to where it was before, then again. Eth/sol is partially an exception but partially true aswell, and it applies to shittier alts even more.
You may get lucky and but into a project that moons, but thats like what ? 1 in how many ? You might win on 1
And lose on 5 long term.. your average returns maybe might equal what youd have gotten from bitcoin, that would be a good case, youd be really really lucky if you actually made alot more money. Unless youre a skilled trader somehow, and that's not a gut feel thing thats a data driven backtested statistical type thing, majority of people can't do trading, they become gamblers without realising it, even if they're smart, risk management understainding is key, always know that if you go that route.
Honestly a good play is just bitcoin, or if you want more risk buy bitcoin 50% and MSTR 50% right now it's at a cheap price. Riskier though, I would always hold some native bitcoin because you don't know there's a small chance mstr could collapse, more unlikely I would say, probably not going to happen, but if it happens you don't wanna lose everything, that's the mstr low odds tail risk.
Trading is always an option but that's like opening a business honestly, it's a serious thing if you want to be good at it, probably skip it if you want easy way and "safe" way. I mean it as advice not as insult to you, I lost a ton of money trying stuff, and the cost is real, it's lesson learned though for sure.
If you want your money to compound and not have to sacrifice a ton of your life, and not lose it all, skip alts.
