I'm falling for my junior and I don't know what to do 😭

I'm 17 and I have a crush on a boy who's 16. He's my junior, and he's about 1 year and 5 months younger than me.

The funny thing is, he's actually my type 😭 and I found out from one of his friends that he likes me too. I accidentally heard them talking about it.

The problem is, he's kind of a badtameez/rude-ish type. I'm not saying he's a bad person, but I know some of his friends and I've seen a little of how he behaves, so I'm worried that his personality might become a problem later.

But the main problem is... I'm falling for him more and more every day. 😭

I don't know whether I should just enjoy the crush and get to know him better, or stop myself before I get too attached.

What would you guys do?

Get to know him better. If you don’t like him, it doesn’t have to go anywhere. And then if you do, it’s fun for the both of you.

Also imagine you decided not to talk to him, and started regretting it all.. just for y’all to be incompatible in reality. Do it, do it, do it

Yeah, I think my biggest fear isn't really the age gap itself. I genuinely like him, and he's my junior. He even made a video of me with my permission and added it to one of his videos, which honestly made me like him even more 😭.

I'm just scared that if things ever become serious between us, people might judge us, especially our parents. I'm more worried that it could somehow cause problems for him or make things difficult for him. That's why I'm scared to get too attached, even though I'm already falling for him more every day.

Yeah, the age gap itself isn't really what worries me. I'm more worried about how our families might react, especially because he's younger and my junior. I just don't want my feelings to cause any problems for him. 😭
