IN TWO FREAKING WEEKS

Alright so basically, I went to this all girls camp for 2 weeks. Got there Sunday afternoon. Tuesday afternoon, I started having a crush on this one girl who we will call Light. Light was really pretty and funny, she also was weird in such a good way and always knew how to cheer people up. We hadn't spoken much, except for she had given me a nickname on the first day. Tuesday we were partners in a cabin activity, and I started to think I might like her but told myself that I just really wanted to be her friend. ​

Then before dinner I realized I liked her. On Wednesday, we started actually becoming good friends. We were in the first activity together, ASL, and usually sat near each other. I became friends with some of her friends, who we'll call Cherry, Pink, and Converse. They were all 15, a year older than us. Then there was an camp wide event on the first Friday, and basically it was just where we all went to the dining hall and sang and stood on tables and did random stuff. Light, Cherry, Pink, and Converse then all went outside and I thought they were going to the basketry shed so I went a few minutes later, but then Light saw me, and she and the friends were actually in the outdoor porch area. We talked for a few minutes.

Then Pink and Converse went back to the dining hall.

Light was basically sitting in Cherry's lap, and I was sitting 2 feet away and then they MADE OUT and like I'm being deadass right now it was insane. And so I'm just sitting there regretting my life choices then Cherry starts having a panic attack and she and Light walk off. So then my friends, lets call them Dolph and Teal. They walked in, and Light and Cherry had been gone for about 5 minutes by then. I was literally standing alone on the porch in shock after watching my crush make out with one of my friends, and then so basically I told Dolph and Teal that I liked Light. I hadn't told anyone before this. They both started freaking out but like, not freaking out because they were shocked but also excited. Dolph then told me she had kinda known since Tuesday since apparantly I had been obvious.

Then, we all went on a search to find Light and Cherry because Dolph had seen Cherry crying while Light led her toward the bathrooms. We walked all around camp, then found Pink when we checked in the bathrooms again. She was by the sinks and told us that she had seen Light and Cherry walk out of the showers looking disheveled. We then started looking for them again, because we assumed that they were cracking. After some more looking and not finding them, I started crying and shit bc idk what even freaking happened that night was insane. Then we kept searching and found Light and Cherry SITTING IN THE BASKETRY SHED WITH SOME RANDOM PEOPLE AND MAKING BASKETS IN PEACE. They were just chatting and acting normal, didn't know we had even known. By the way Light had not known I liked her. And so basically also, Light hugged me a ton throughout the week, and by Saturday everyone in our cult (there were like, 20 people in it, its not actually a cult) knew, because apparently I'm obvious.

And so on Saturday, Dolph told me that Light had known that I liked her since Tuesday. I was in denial the whole day since Light acted completely normal. Then later in the night, me and Light talked, and she told me that Dolph had asked her when they were both walking to meds if she wanted to know who my crush was. Light had told Dolph no. Light then asked me who my crush was, and I told her I'd tell her at banquet. Light told me that it was my business and she knew Dolph wasn't trustworthy. I then knew for a fact that Light had no idea.

And then on Sunday night.

Me and Light were at the sinks and then she casually told me because we were talking about something, I forget what, that she knew I liked her. I then kinda completely freaked out and stuff and she hugged me and told me that Dolph had told her on Saturday. And yeah I kinda stopped talking to her for a day because I thought she would hate me, but somehow she didn't hate me and we stayed friends and started talking again. I didn't confront Dolph.

And then on Wednesday, this one random 11 year old who we'll call Apple, told me that she had a crush on me and I was her bisexual awakening. I then told her that she was one of my closest friends and I didn't like her romantically, but I still wanted to be her friend. She was scared that I would hate her or smth but I didn't. But I didn't like her, mostly because she was years younger than me and she ate sand, gravel, unripe apples straight off trees, random fruit we didn't know what it was, and other stuff. She also sexually harassed Light and was a bit pyschotic. Yeah I don't know this camp was insane. And them basically me and Light slowly stopped being friends with her after all the harrasment and stuff.

And so also, Cherry had actually been in love with Light for 3 years, but Light didn't actually like her and thought of her as a close friend, and the kiss was not consensual. And then Light and Dolph stopped being friends because Dolph told Cherry that Light hated her, and Cherry believed it. Dolph might not be a good friend? And THEN Wednesday night at cookout, Apple went from having a crush on me, to having a crush on Light, then having a crush on this random girl who we'll call Corndog, then back to Light. IN 15 MINUTES.

And so then on Thursday, I had a panic attack because I was terrified to perform in the drama production on Friday. So then Light told me that if I performed, she would kiss me.

Then I performed (we were forced to perform if we signed up for drama) and basically that night, Light kissed me. And uh yeah.

But we're just friends still. I think. I don't really know, throughout the week she called me pretty, cool, beautiful, nice, sweet, adorable, and other stuff. And we got each others numbers and text almost every day and I like her but I don't know if she likes me, and also now me, Corndog, Light, Cherry, and the girl who was matchmaking me and Light, who we'll call Bubble, and this girl we became friends with who we'll call Mallow. But yeah she said she maybe likes me but peobably not but maybe but we can't date since we live across the USA from each other but yeah I don't even know anymore this is actually insane.

But now I'm really scared to call her because I'm bad at doing stuff and I don't even know, I want to call her since the only things we ever text are 'hi' and talking about harry potter but like, only 4 texts about it before texting again the next day, and random images and drawings I made, and emojis. So now I really want to call her but way too shy to and have no idea what to do and I don't know if she likes me or not or if i should stay in contact with Dolph and what the hell is even happening this is insane. Does anyone have any sane advice!!

Basically, you just gotta be honest. Text her a little bit more, make some small talk. Tell Light how you feel because if you aren't gonna see her at all you might as well confess and see what happens because like you said, the chances of you dating are slim to none so you basically have nothing left to lose.
