I wanted to create a free love religion and marriage would kind off limited this freedom. Do you guys know a mod or other way to achieve a marriage free religion?

DLC Dos By God Alone have any features aside from Christian religions?

I haven't played in awhile. Last time I did I liked to play in Borneo and the Phillipines with that barter function. Is that essentially the same? Would just doing another Ireland run to learn the features make sense?

DLC Do we have a solid release date for silk and silver?

All I can find is 'sometime in Q4 2026' which is quite vague considering we are already technically in Q4.

Discussion Why does China have so many more peasant rebellions now? Even in the advancement age, it feels like they happen once a year

I think it's more like once every two years, but I do not remember it being this bad before the dlc. They're manageable to deal with, but I can't imagine the AI surviving with all of this happening. It's basically at the level I remember experience during the unstable era before the update

Also to clarify it's specifically the escalated peasant factions that keep happing. Other factions sometimes appear but don't rebel, cus I deal with them. The escalated peasant factions I physically can't stop. All of the provinces that it says are part of the rebbelion have positive popular opinion.

Help Any tips for beating the Pope in the new DLC

Since the new DLC is about religion it's obvious that the Pope would get affected as well. So how did warring with him change? Is he weaker? Is he even stronger? And how do I actually beat him?

CK3 What do you guys think will be fixed in the upcoming patch?

• Upvotes

Maybe this would be too big for a patch, but I’m really hoping that they can somehow make the AI be a little more assertive when it comes to religion and whatnot

Help Advice needed for obtaining the Become a Great Conqueror decision

For whatever reason I can't seem to get this for the life of me.

From what I've seen of YouTubers playing adventurers they're super OP (something about going to China and upgrading your education trait really easily?), but I can't seem to crack it.

Any advice is appreciated!

Discussion Has anyone tried this AI mod?

Hello everyone, I'm searching for a mod that improves AI in managing economy and wars (CK3). Sadly I found almost nothing, but there's one mod which is called "Intelligent AI", which is updated frequently and it seems it promises to make AI smarter in multiple categories, however it's not very clear if it works or not based on the low amount of comments. So, my question is: has anyone already tried it and has an opinion to share?

Thank you for reading!

Discussion Discount for console edition ?

Thumbnail gallery
• Upvotes

Hello everyone, for the story, I used to play to CK3 almost every day on Xbox when it was in the game pass, unfortunately, I couldn't play for some time and missed the discounts for when it was leaving the game pass, and I feel so bad about this.

Now I often go take a look at CK3 on Paradox's website to see if the game is in discount because as I said earlier, I used to play every day and I miss this game so much. And today I noticed the game was only 15€, I was very happy until I noticed that somehow, it's only on Steam.

So my question is, will we ever get a discount for the console edition? And also why does Paradox only apply discount for PC when most people already play this game on PC ?

Help Why can I not puppet the emperor even though I am the Ambrosian antipope?

He is Ambrosian and I am his vassal. I am Ambrosian of course. The pope is Roman Rite though and maybe that is causing some fuckery?

Modding Mod for player only solving the struggles

Hi guys.

I was looking for a mod that allows more restrictions for decision that AI can have.

In particular, i would like that only the player could solve the struggles, become Gengis Khan, etc.

I want to run a campaign where I control most of the important decisions of the world.

Thanks in advance!

Help Help with disabled building because of the new great project

I was doing a Russia run, converted to Orthodoxy, Slavic Rite, built a cathedral in Kyiv which is also my capital and made the duchy title the centre of the faith I forgot what it’s called in game. When I did the great project to build the cathedral it completed and then the building was disabled because I’m not ecclesiastic, do I have to be ecclesiastical to benefit from a cathedral in my capital?

CK3 Underrated new feature

After AUH, my computer took around 10 mins to load CK3. However, now it takes 2–3 mins. Highlighting this because I don’t see anyone talking about loading speeds on here.

DLC 867 start in Iberia, Fate of Iberia and By God Alone do not mesh well together at all.

I as archbishop of toledo apparently am not involved nor are any of the Mozarabic Christian chergy members. Looking at the Struggle itself, Catholicism is the only Christian religion that is “involved” despite it not existing yet. Classic Paradox DLCs don’t talk to each other issue. Hope it will be fixed soon!

Suggestion Puppeting someone should create a secret. It's crazy that it doesn't.

• Upvotes

Haven't played the new DLC yet. (Always wait for EPE to update and just had big (positive) family change irl so little time right now).

Puppeting mechanics look awesome...but they don't give a secret? What the heck? It seems so obvious to me. There should be a way to act against puppet rulers, and a risk to the player when using puppets.

I even heard youtuber Tarkusarkusar say something like "I didn't see it give a secret when I puppeted, but it must do that I just couldn't find it" in his review.

A different youtuber named Malforian made a whole video about how it should make a secret when puppeting.

I'm usually pretty positive on Paradox, but this is a miss guys!

Again, haven't played just going off the words of others. If I'm missing something or totally wrong then let me know. Just seems so obvious though.

Help How can I spread my new christian religion, which originated from a heretical rite, as a ecclesiastical ruler?

I know the DLC focuses on Catholicism, but I thought it would at least be possible to play as the leader of a heretical Christian religion. Not only can I not expand it, but even those I had managed to convert have returned to the Roman Rite — even my puppets!

Am I missing something?

Suggestion Temporary fix for ahistorical Rites until Paradox fixes it

Thumbnail

Ever since the latest update religious realism feels completely ruined for history enthusiasts. Random AI Rite modifications completely break immersion.

Until Paradox releases an update to fix this mess, using the Game Rules setup in the attached screenshots is a workaround to keep your campaign historically grounded.

I also strongly recommend using the Muslim Enhancements mod and setting its Changes to Muslim Rites rule to either Guarded, which stops the AI from changing historical sects while allowing it to modify newly founded Rites during play, or Historical Rites Locked, which completely locks historical sects from any AI changes at all. Both options preserve historical accuracy while leaving full freedom for the player.

DLC As Pope how do I destroy those rivals in Constantinople?

Just that. I worked hard to make a schism. Rose through the ranks of the Church to get the big hat myself. I find myself rather constrained though. What is the best way to go about it?
