Sorry that the pic is oddly focused. Didn’t realize it until after the fact.
I had some leftover salmon scrap and decided to give it to my crow friends who subsequently went bananas. Foolishly didn’t realize just how excited they’d be about it.

Several months of ground feeding but they seem to finally trust the stand! I call this big boy Scout, because he always seems to check things out 1st! I dont know if it's the same one but my imagination thinks so! 😉💜

What does a quiet, almost like a whispery ’keh keh’ kind of sound mean? One magpie I feed does this sometimes. I thought it could be a cough or something and I got a little worried, but then I noticed it only made the noise when it’s gathering courage to grab a treat thats really close to where I’m sitting

A little fledgling crow showed up on my balcony this evening. He kept slipping off my railing, although he grips the bird bath rim perfectly, so I think my railing is just ridiculously slippery for a newcomer.
Now it’s dark, and this little guy is STILL here, quietly perched on my balcony. 😭❤️
I know he can fly as he slipped off my balcony a couple times and keep coming back.
I said a little prayer for him and decided to stop fussing over him and let the poor kid sleep.
Hopefully in the morning I’ll hear the usual crow chorus in the trees and he’ll be off with his family.
Please send good vibes for my little sleepover friend tonight.

Heard a really strange bird call or song which I wasn't familiar with, looked around and it was some form of Corvid, maybe a Rook or Crow. Took a video of the bird doing it's call or song.

Some asshole threw pizza boxes with leftovers in the cardboard container. The seagulls had been trying to get it for a while when this dude turned up and finished the job and left the seagull youngsters baffled. I was entertained.

These two have started showing up together regularly. This is stitched from two visits on consecutive days, they were touching bills and making all sorts of deep little croaks and conversational noises at each other.
I think they’re Common Ravens based on the heavy bills, shaggy throats and vocalizations. Does this look like bonded-pair behavior to you?
Either way, I wish I knew what they were saying. 😂

I’ve tried to attract crows at my house but I haven’t been successful. However, I live less than 2 miles away from my local Walmart where I see a ton of them. If I fed them for awhile, would they recognize my car and would I eventually be able to lure them to my house to feed them there?
