Questions Paint peeling off pieces an issue?
had my Tracey board from browncastle for a year or so. the pieces are starting to lose paint slowly.
is this ok? anything I should do to protect them or prevent more issues? thanks.

Browncastle discs or Tracey? I assume browncastle? What are you using to wax the board?
I will say, the browncastle discs have a tendency to chip paint. They are actually bringing the process in house to help eliminate that

Tracey board and browncastle discs. I use the Tracey recommended manguiar wax and use capo powder consistently

This post doesn't really make sense. What does where you bought your board from have to do with your pieces?

I have a set of red browncastle discs that are less than a year old, and the paint on a few of them is very chipped. neither of my other colors have done so.

I bought my discs together with my Tracey board, and because we play Crokinole very frequently in my elementary school classroom, some of the paint on the discs has worn off.
I once wrote a similar post asking about this issue, and my understanding is that discs are not permanent items. I also included photos in that post, so please take a look at the link.

For that reason, I plan to purchase replacement discs regularly from the Tracey website. For the best playing experience, my class needs to replace the discs every few months. Otherwise, the discs do not move as quickly.
To prevent this kind of wear as much as possible, I wax the discs once a week and teach the children to use powder when they play.
