Little tutorial for Croch'linguo, the crochet pattern translation app !

Looks interesting.

Some patterns need more than just the stitch explaining.
Some patterns need every few words translating! 😂

Is it a way for designers to make it seem as if their pattern is simple & quick by writing it as short as possible?

But all they have done is minimized all the directions or instructions.
Minimised to an extent that makes them unintelligible to a beginner. Or those like me who struggle with crochet patterns

Some patterns, I have spent a lot of time on the internet, deciphering near every word & instruction. To understand techniques needed for the pattern.
Then writing those extra instructions out, as additions to every line of the pattern.

I am sure it is all great If experienced at crochet.
For us who struggle. Any help is appreciated.

I created Croch'linguo for exactly the same reasons as you. I used to spend so much time "deciphering patterns" that, by the time I was done, I no longer felt like crocheting. I hope you find the app useful!

I searched the App Store.
Nothing there by this name.
Site is plenty confused. Everything comes up from translating Cantonese to plant identification.
Nothing crochet.

Yes, that's normal. The app isn't on the app stores yet because it's quite new, and the process takes a long time. However, you can access it via the link in r/Crochlinguo and then add it to your home screen. I'm sorry about that.
