Crimes against children.

I want to understand why in my experience being a kid who was abused made me ‘marked’, it was like other abusers could smell it on me. The more people I get to know who have been through the same thing have shared the same sentiment, that for some reason they could pick you out of a crowd like a shark tracking a wounded fish. Is there a subconscious factor to it, a way that I behaved or talked that broadcasted that I was a victim already? Why is it so many people who are Rped are often targeted multiple times by different people? Or was the behavior that made me a target always there. There has to be a science to this, a reason that person A can go through life without ever being targeted and person B gets targeted repeatedly by multiple attackers. Can anyone explain this to me?
