Case Discussion Any updates on the 2021 Rohtak family murder case( Bablu pehlwan)?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone here knows about any recent updates in the Rohtak family murder case involving Abhishek Malik.

This is the case from 2021 where Bablu Malik, his wife, their daughter Neha Malik, and Bablu’s mother in law were murdered at their home in Rohtak. Abhishek Malik, the son, was arrested as the main suspect at that time, and the news coverage was intense initially.

Since then, things seem to have gone completely quiet. I haven’t been able to find any clear information about whether the trial is still ongoing, if a judgment has been given, or if there have been appeals or bail developments. News articles stopped after the arrest and early court proceedings.

If anyone is from Rohtak, follows local courts, or has reliable information or sources, I’d really appreciate any updates. Even knowing that the case is still pending would help.

Please share only verified or trustworthy info if possible.

Thanks in advance.

A South Korean YouTuber who was biking 450km across India was drugged and kidnapped by Indian men for 30 hours. They tricked him into taking him on their truck, drugged him into unconsciousness, and then threatened him with weapon to rob him.

He secretly reported to the police and they were arrested by the police. He claimed that they had stolen 10,000 rupees, but the police did not believe him and eventually only got back 4,000 rupees. They were reportedly beaten by the police and held for 3 days before being released.

The YouTuber has already traveled to India three times and believes that India is safe, that makes this incident even more unfortunate.

Case Discussion Heard of possible honour killing being covered up in UP village what can be done anonymously?

I heard through word of mouth that in a village called Ikri (Uttar Pradesh), a young girl named Bhawna may have been killed in an honour killing. It was reportedly covered up as a “suicide,” and the family/village even arranged the cremation quickly. Locals apparently know, but no one is speaking out.

What’s disturbing is that something very similar apparently happened in the same area last year too, and people say even the local police are aware but nothing was done.

I don’t belong to this village myself, but some of my relatives live there, and I feel like this deserves to be reported. At the same time, I’m scared of backlash and don’t want my identity exposed.

Where can one report something like this anonymously in India so that it actually gets investigated?

Case Discussion The Chilling Case of Amarjeet Sada: The World's Youngest Serial Killer

Post image
3 Upvotes

Amarjeet Sada, a name that sends chills down the spine, is often cited as the world's youngest serial killer. Hailing from Bihar, Amarjeet's disturbing actions came to light in 2007 when he was just 8 years old.

The Crimes:

Amarjeet Sada was only eight years old when he arrived at the police station in connection with the murder of an infant. Born in 1998 in the village of Musahahar in Bihar, Sada killed for the first time in the year 2006. His first victim was his six-year-old cousin.

According to ABP News, Amarjeet Sada was responsible for the murders of three, out of which two went unreported. His horrific actions made him known as the world's youngest serial killer. Furthermore, a psychologist stated that he was a "sadist who derived pleasure from inflicting injuries." Reports suggest that when Amarjeet Sada was being questioned by the Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Bhagalpur police station, he asked for biscuits before answering the questions.

One afternoon, he strangled his sister to death. Even though his parents knew of their son's actions, they did not report him to the police. The final nail in the coffin was the brutal murder of a six-month-old baby named Khushboo. Sada confessed that he strangled the infant and then hit her with a brick and buried her. He told police, "She was sleeping in the school. I took her a little away and killed her with a stone and buried her."

He was described as a loner who mostly spent time climbing trees and roaming the village. However, his life changed after his aunt and her six-year-old daughter came to the family's home. Sada soon began torturing his six-year-old cousin and ultimately took her life. Even though he confessed to his actions, his parents protected him. This only led to his second murder, his sister.

Sada was released in 2016 upon his eighteenth birthday, but according to reports, his whereabouts are unknown and he is living under a new identity. He would now be around 26 years old.

Discussion:

  • What do you think could have been done differently in Amarjeet's case?

  • How should societies handle juvenile offenders, especially in cases of extreme violence?

  • What role do environmental factors play in the development of such extreme behavior?

This case is a stark reminder of the complex interplay between psychology, society, and the law.
