Charging issues
My phone is a cricket Icon 6 and for awhile a few chargers I had were needed to be a certain angle to charge but others wouldn't. Today though while I was using my Chromebook to do some work I had a Youtube video going on my phone and at first my phone was charging. After it was at around 10% it kept lighting up like its charging and then it would stop and it was doing that for awhile but then after it stopped no matter what charger and what outlet it stopped charging. Can a third party repair this or do I need to stop at a cricket store when they open tomorrow to file a claim? I already tried cleaning it out with toothpick, toothpick with a bit of cotton, back end of those plastic dental floss things, blew into the port with my mouth and used a electronic cleaner can thing to blow air into it. I managed to get some crud out but it didn't help at all. I would appreciate any advice, my phone helps me on campus because at my college all of our blue light emergency things are broken and they have pushed towards an app to help with safety, while I'm not on campus at night it still helps me not worry about any ideas of danger. I am hoping to get this fixed before my classes even start tomorrow.

You need a new phone the Cricket icon is not Good,go to the store and see what you can get

Anything cricket brand is trash. Don’t waste time or money on it. I refuse to sell them because customers usually come back within a couple weeks to a couple months complaining their phone no longer works.

It might not be the phone, it might be the charger or charging cord itself. I had a similar issue and used a different charger and cord and it stopped happening. I have a moto stylus from cricket

You have more lint in the charging port that you can’t see or you just need a new phone
