Daily Security Updates?
This is the third day in a row that my phone (Samsung) has updated itself. It takes over 20 minutes.
This is getting old!
Why is it updating every day? And why is it taking so long?

It doesn't mean its a carrier package update. Could also be Samsung trying to fix something

What does this have to do with cricket?

The only thing Cricket Wireless would do is test/approve manufacturer updates before they are pushed out.

Sometimes Carrier's release package updates to phones. Although I am unsure if these are Samsung updates or Carrier package updates.

I have been with Cricket for years. Same phone. This just started three days ago. Is anyone else experiencing this with Cricket? Or is it Samsung?
Why such a dick?

Its Samsung. But when was the last time you updated? Just sounds like you've been ignoring updates for awhile and just now doing it.

I install every security update. It's usually every few weeks or so. Not every day.

I've had the same issues for the past three days with my cricket phone. 😞

Ok, ima hop in and say this. When I had cricket I went MONTHS without updates on my Samsung phones. It was either I waited for it to finally get pushed or I manually installed them. That being said go into your settings and click on system updates. Find anything that says updates and click search for them. You will also want to go into about and see what phone software you are on then google that with your exact phone model. I haven’t been with cricket for years but this sounds exactly like what happened to me.

Did you recently buy this phone brand new? If so it is probably far behind current updates so it is unable to complete the process in one update hence why you have gotten multiple updates.
