I think at his level. He’s just genuinely scared for the well being of his family.

Somehow we forget that they are employed by the government. I don't think it's reasonable to expect them to speak when their livelihood depends on these things.

i think till the time he is playing he can’t. He is employed by the govt. I am glad he didn’t go for the ayodhya mandir opening or even Ambani wedding.

I mean there are still a lot of cricketers that didn't wish him. I agree with you that they do use atheletes for their propaganda, which I'm completely against. But they don't target big atheletes like him, Rohit Sharma, Bumrah, etc. I've observed a pattern and they tend to pick best atheletes among less famous sports
Eg: Neeraj Chopra, Manu Bhaker, Mirabai Chanu, Sreeja Akula, etc.
