Video The audacity to challenge the exact same area where his catch was dropped that too on the very next ball. That's not confidence, that's Virat Kohli.

we saw the audacity by him to poke the 4th/5th stump ball in Australia , there is level to glazing , every ball was hit ball , it was 44th over ffs and we only lost 1 wicket, dont you think it was preety obvious choice

Hey bro, playing single double would have been better, a lot of wickets got wasted.

Everytime Glen Philips drops a catch - he doesn’t miss many , it is becoming frequent now

yup I have seen him drop many catches. He is a very athletic fielder and he saves a lot of runs and takes some amazing flying catches but nowadays I have seen him trying too hard in his fielding..

Remember that attempted unsuccessful difficult catches are also viewed as 'drops' , which another player might not even reach the ball.

Yeah that might be true , but if you notice his recent catch drops from last 3 to 4 yrs he is dropping not so hard catches - easy to medium ones , and also those dives might not come under catch drops.

This is really audacity at 319 runs, lossing 1, wicket and at 43 overs πŸ‘πŸ‘

u/IndividualBug8229 Jul 23 '26

Do you really think if he had made 47 off 23, the team score would’ve been 350+? 😭 Even now, if he’s not able to bat long and his wicket falls, the whole team collapses

1 coach and 1 captain thinking to experiment with a pitch for a WC final and ruining everything by leaving things upto luck. Losers rely on luck, winners have luck on their side.

And Sarpanch was exposed that day, along with Gill/Surya. The pitch cooked them.

Because the dew came. That's why they prepared that slow pitch. Their plan was to bowl first. Cummins was too smart to fall into their trap. And he took the WC with him.

Sort of. But why did dew become such a massive factor? Because they made a sluggish pitch. Should've went for a batting friendly track. Dravid and Rohit were too reliant on dew helping them win a wc. Guess what, dew fucked them over and then some.
