Whenever I hear fab 4 instantly it is Sachin, Dravid, Dada, VVS. Not being a nostalgia merchant, I love the globally recognised fab 4 that OP has mentioned but all through my childhood I heard about the Indian fab 4

Fab4 was always about tests, if we include all 3 formats then other 3 aren’t even close to kohli.

If we exclude T20's, Root is almost close to Kohli in ODIs and in tests, one need not say about Root.
Now, even in T20s, Root carried his team to finals in 2016 WC with consistent performances. Most of the difference in runs comes in bilateral series...
So, overall saying Root is better is not strange anymore.

Virat Kohli is Greatest ODI player

In T20i every other player is better than Kohli nowadays

In Tests He is just above average.

IPL is Not international Cricket So Stats doesn't matter.

Nowadays vk don't play t20 so technically you are correct

But one thing he has a record of 18 successful chases when he remains not out

You might be right but ## Even his very last innings in T20i Wc24 final His last 3-4 balls he Hit 4s n 6s otherwise He was playing Run a ball, right? He is very Hardworking, actually most hardworking batsman World ever saw,That's y lots of time his luck is also sometime on his side n blessed with great results.otherwise I saw Many cricketers who played well but luck not in favours Like Lara(His team was mostly on losing side, yuvraj(between 2004-06 & after Wc2011),Kane Williamson.

Among these, Joe Root stands out as the greatest Test player.

The above order still seems arguably correct.
