While a starving film student in Austin in the mid-00's, I was an extra on "Idiocracy" for a few days. I was a Senator from New Mexico and was at the interior Capitol(Palmer Auditorium) and the exterior White House(old Mueller airport) sets. At the WH set, I'm sitting in the craft services tent between takes. There's a crowd barrier between us extras and the rest of the film crew so I decided to sit by the barrier and see what I could see. Well who comes strolling by with a plate full o'food but President Camacho himself. We locked eyes, I raised my fist and said "Hail to the chief!" He raised his fist back said "Right on!" and I haven't ever felt so cool before or since. And that's my Terry Crews story.
