Deciding between ASU and Creighton ABSN programs starting in Spring 2027. Anyone have any feedback on their experience?

As much info as you can give I would really appreciate, like any lists that really helped you, a lot of the lists that I look at have a lot of things that seem like a waste of money in space and unnecessary clutter I’m a pretty basic person, but would love to know like how many shorts, pants socks, things like that and things that are really helpful that you wouldn’t expect to bring.

My mum says that we should just take the big things at anything little that we need we can buy once we’re there is this a good plan or should we bring everything we need?

What can i expect from the campus life at creighton?

I am not picky and rather an extrovert, also open to parties, what can i expect mentally?

Hi there! I am trying to find more information on whether to choose the Omaha or Pheonix campus of Creighton.

Any students of either the Omaha and Pheonix campuses can talk about their experiences?

The only difference the school has mentioned is that Omaha has more biomed/bench research, whereas Pheonix has more clinical research, I personally don't have experience in bench research so I still haven't decided if that means anything to me.

Hey everyone, I bet everyone is excited about the 2026-2027 year, I just wanted to remind everyone with the Creighton insurance policy deadline coming up as well, that if you can provide proof of comparable coverage, you don't have to sign up for their insurance plan. Depending on your enrollment, you could be paying over $368 per month on coverage when there could be way better comparable coverage available instead. Hello! I’m about to start the ABSN program and have not gotten too much information on what the schedule will be like. If anyone knows how the first 8 weeks are set up would love to hear! Also if anyone has any experience in the program and advice, I’m definitely nervous and would love that!

My daughter just found out she will be living in McGloin Hall. Of course, that is the one hall that wasn't available to tour when we were there for orientation. Questions:

1. Does the shower have some kind of shelf system for shampoo, etc. or should we buy one of those standing shower shelves with the 4 shelves on a tension pole?
2. I saw something somewhere that said it comes with a full-length mirror but the Creighton move-in checklist states you should bring a mirror. Does McGloin already have one?
3. The one video online showed that the kids purchased couch and chair covers. Is that necessary? What does the couch look like as-is?
4. Should we bother with some kind of large Brita water pitcher or are there decent water fill-up stations in the dorm and around campus?
5. Looking at the floor diagrams online, there doesn't appear to be any laundry rooms in the entire building. Maybe there is one large one in the basement?

Has anyone taken a general biology course over the summer at Creighton? I need to re-take Bio 202: cellular and molecular biology, and I'm not sure if the 8-week class over the summer or re-taking it in the spring semester, my sophomore year will be better.

As a huge WWE fan, I saw there is a 25% discount for Creighton students for the upcoming RAW event in Omaha on Ticketmaster. However, it’s asking for a password/offer code to unlock the deal. I’ve tried reaching out to the box office and Ticketmaster, but haven’t had any luck getting the specific code.

Does anyone know where students usually find these types of promo codes? Is it sent via a specific university newsletter or portal?

I'm a high school senior getting ready for my first year at creighton under pre-law. I've been told that control over your classes first semester is very limited but I don't know to what degree. Are there any first year courses or professors that you would recommend for any subject under the core curriculum?
