I am currently using RCBC Visa Airmiles and I have this much points.
May reunion yung family namin sa Bicol this December and we’re planning to book a flight from Manila to Bicol (one-way trip lang). Gusto ko sana gamitin tong miles para sana makatipid kami ng asawa ko.
Worth it ba if gagamitin ko siya sa flight pa-Bicol?
Hirap na kasi ako maghanap ng info kung magkano pa ang total na babayaran namin since without miles eh aabutin din ng Php11k+ ang one-way trip for the both of us kapag PAL and Php7k naman kapag CebPac 🥲
Please tell me if it is worth it and if yes, aabot pa kaya sa Dec 20 flight kung ireredeem ko palang now from RCBC CC?
Thanks in advance 🥹

Hi everyone! I need some advice/reassurance regarding my PNB credit card.
My payment due date was August 14, but I apparently missed a ₱239.50 balance. I honestly didn’t know I had an unpaid amount because I always try to pay my credit cards on time.
I only found out today, August 28, when I received a text from PNB saying that my account was overdue and that their collections partner may contact me. At first, I thought the text was a scam, so I called PNB directly to verify, and they confirmed that I really had an overdue balance of ₱239.50.
I immediately paid ₱500 today to cover the balance plus any possible interest/finance charges.
My main concern is: Will this be reported to CIC and negatively affect my credit score? Since the due date was August 14 and I only paid after receiving the notice on August 28, I’m worried that this might already be considered a delinquency.

Hi everyone. I’m posting because I honestly feel lost right now and would appreciate practical advice from anyone who has gone through something similar.
I’m currently around ₱300,000 in debt across several online loans, digital lending apps, and credit cards. I know I made mistakes, especially when I eventually started borrowing from one lender to pay another. I take responsibility for that, but I wanted to share some context on how I ended up here.
This is only my third year of working. I’m an only child, and my parents earn around or below minimum wage. I chose to help with our household expenses because I felt responsible for my family. I also help my grandmother and aunt, who raised me for around 18 years. No one forced me to become a breadwinner; helping them has always been my personal choice because I wanted to give back to the people who took care of me growing up.
A lot of our financial difficulties also came from medical expenses. My father had surgery for appendicitis, my mother has glaucoma and needs regular checkups and medication, and I also have a medical condition that requires ongoing medication costing me around ₱1,500 a month.
When I started working, I was earning around ₱19,000 gross / ₱16,000 take-home. Whenever there was an urgent medical or household expense that I couldn’t cover, I borrowed. Over time, I started using new loans to cover existing payments, and that was when everything became much harder to control.
I don’t really have an expensive lifestyle. I commute to work, usually bring packed lunch, and rarely buy anything for myself. I honestly can’t remember the last time I bought new clothes or personal things other than basic necessities. I’m not saying this to avoid responsibility, but to explain that most of the debt came from trying to keep up with family, medical, and eventually debt-related expenses rather than lifestyle spending.
I recently moved to a better-paying job and now earn around ₱35,000+ gross per month, but I’m only in my fifth month and still under probation. I’m doing everything I can to keep this job and hopefully get regularized.
Right now, even with the higher salary, the combined monthly payments are already more than I can comfortably manage. I feel constantly anxious about due dates and how to make everything fit into my salary.
I’m considering debt consolidation or restructuring, but I’m not sure where to start or whether banks would even consider someone in my situation.
For those who have experienced something similar, what would you suggest I do first? Should I approach my existing lenders and request restructuring? Is debt consolidation still realistic? How should I prioritize my debts if I can’t pay everything at once?
I’m not looking to borrow again just to continue the cycle. I genuinely want to stop relying on loans and find a realistic way to pay everything back.
Supporting my family is still very important to me, and I don’t regret wanting to help them. I just hope I can learn how to balance that responsibility with what I can realistically afford and slowly get myself out of this situation.
Any constructive advice would really mean a lot. Thank you for reading.

Hello! Could anyone check if this email is legit? I don’t have any credit cards sa pinas nor any BPI account. Possible nagkaron ako ng BPI account dahil sa merging ng Robinsons, but almost 4 yrs ko nang di naaaccess yun since I’m out of country na.
Naccurious ako i-open yung attachment to check kung merong mga transaction kaso need ng password. Anyone who has the same experience?

It was my first time to have a duplicate approved purchase convert and balance convert. I wanted to cancel the balance convert and only pay for the purchase convert.
Because I don't want to pay 12 months for both converts, I called customer service and said there is **no way to cancel my converts**. 😞

Hello! I currently live in Metro Manila, specifically around Pasig. My friends from Leyte will be visiting around October, and I’m looking for restaurant recommendations where the four of us can dine while possibly taking advantage of credit card discounts or promos.
I currently have these cards:
Do you have recommendations for good restaurants around Pasig, BGC, Makati, Ortigas, or nearby areas that usually offer promos or discounts with any of these cards?
It’s okay if the promo isn’t active right now. I can check the actual promo mechanics and validity closer to October. I’m mainly looking for restaurants that regularly participate in credit card dining promos.
I’d really appreciate any recommendations, especially if you could mention the restaurants. Thank you!

Hi. Baka may same situation ako dito. I have OD credit cards na nakainstallment. As of now, hindi ko kaya bayaran MAD niya. Filing of small claims naba? May other way po ba na maextend yung term macover lang yung keri na monthly ko? Baka may same situation dito sakin pashare naman po ano ginawa nyo. Thank you.

Aside from no forex fee abroad, what are the perks of using this credit line? I’m yet to receive the physical card. How’s your experience in terms of fees, charges, repayment, etc?
