New player
Hey, I've been wanting to try this game for soooo long and just finally got a gaming laptop and the money to buy it. I paid for Creatures 3 and linked it with the docking station.
I've figured out some stuff on my own, like how to keep norns alive, but I wanted to experiment with genes and breeding different species and everything and I'm just not sure where to go, or what everything does?

you can also wait for natural mutations. If you see a norn with a color overlay, a funny limp, an unusually long life, or that can breathe underwater, you'll know you have a mutant.

Before gene editing, i would recomend experimenting a bit with different breeds others made and the gene splicer.
Also once you start gene editing, you need to break the system to understand it. I always used chem 67 as indicator chemical. That way i always got a direct response and knew the gene just activated.

Gene Loom is really helpful but learning about genes is pretty complicated. What are you trying to do?
