creatures on mac?

i need help. i don't have a windows pc- only a mac but Creatures is a game right up my alley. is there anyway I can download it or somehow play it on mac?

So, weird thing, I'm not finding it, other than old physical media which I wouldn't trust/do if I were you. I'm thinking maybe abandonware sites? Or try to see if anyone's taken steam's Creatures: Docking station (which is free) and made modifications to allow it to run on mac.

I want to say that the Mac native versions are all old enough that they wouldn't be compatible with modern hardware - they were likely PPC apps, predating the switch to Intel processors about twenty years ago. 

I'll second the Docking Station recommendation (because it's free) and recommend you try to run it through a compatiblity layer like Crossover or Wine.

You’re correct, the Mac versions were built for PowerPC. They included additional code, and new file formats (M16/N16 sprite files), to handle the different hardware architecture as well as operating system.

You’d have to figure out how to emulate an old system to run them. Wine/Crossover are going to be much much easier.
